Expertflyer and AS.com both show LAS-SEA on 1/10/14 flight 601 as W7 but when I call British to book it. They don't see any availability?
Any thoughts or just call again? |
Is EF any closer to restoring UA award capability?

What's happened to AC award search? Any ac award search I do returns:
"Class Code X: The class code specified is invalid. Class Code I: The class code specified is invalid." Has it been lost along with everything else star alliance? |

Is there a way to use EF in conjunction with AA T4 upgrade list to determine EXP/500 UG availability?
I found the AA T4 Waitlist but on EF I can't understand how the EXP/500 UG works. Would I just look for J availability in EF? Thanks. |

Hi,
I was supposed to be on this flight, and after a 3.5 hour delay, they said that the GPS system was acting up. they finally deplaned us and though they advised for us to stick around as another plane may come take its place, I went ahead and changed my reservation since I was doing a mileage run and could not afford to come back late. before I left the airport, the UA lounge mentioned the new plane is there and people will need to go to D4. When I checked the flight status this morning however, the plane had been cancelled (thank goodness i was proactive). Could someone tell me if this was a crew issue or another mechanical issue? I want to write to UA and mention that we were never offered water nor snacks during the 3.5 hours. |

I'm guessing that since ExpertFlyer Voice is choosing to ignore the question, that the answer is no.
Can I get a prorated refund since EF has been rendered useless to me -- or at least put my account on hold until the functionality I purchased is restored? |

Different Award Prices on AA.com vs. ExpertFlyer
Anyone noticing differences between the AA website award categories and the ExpertFlyer awards for the same flights? I'm looking at PHL > CDG on March 14 and CDG > PHL on March 23. On AA.com they are 60K , which is Economy AAnytime for the American metal but they are showing up on ExpertFlyer as Coach - MileSAAver Awards. I was hoping to book roundtrip for 40K since it's an AA off-peak destination. Anyone know if I should be able to get the off-peak rate since ExpertFlyer is showing it, but it's not on AA's site?

What's the exact routing that Expert Flyer is showing? Did you include partner carriers on your search at aa.com? |
ExpertFlyer is showing PHL>ORD on AA 4237 and ORD>CDG on AA 42 on the 14th and CDG>ORD on AA 41 and ORD>PHL on AA 4249 on the 23rd. Yes, I have selected AA + AAdvantage Participating Airlines when searching on the AA website. The AA site shows a bunch of BA flights at the 20K off-peak award rates, but I prefer to avoid the fuel surcharges on BA for an economy flight. Would love those AA flights at the lower price, but unsure why they are showing 60K on AA.
