TK fare classes and United's search engine
I'm looking at award seat availability on a TK flight, using United miles. This is a non-stop flight, from a mid-size European city to Istanbul, next year. Searching for the route on united.com, it returns some award availability on TK (mixed with other *A carriers), but only with a connection. It does not list any non-stop flights.
Searching on ExpertFlyer, that shows the TK flight I'm looking for, and it shows 3 seats in "I" and 2 seats in "X". If I'm reading things correctly, "I" and "X" would be business class and coach award seats, respectively. Award seats on this flight do not show up when searching united.com. Why? Is that simply because TK is not making them available to United? That flight *does* show up if I try to do a dummy booking for a paid ticket, so it knows about the flight... I'm new to EF so thanks for being gentle... |

Good morning ,
I am looking at getting a subscription but as I travel a lot in the Americas, the absence of LAN and TAM awards is a loss . Any chance they will become available . For me loss of the big Star players was a biggie but to see the inclusion of awards/upgrades for two of the three big South American carriers would be very attractive. |

Any reason why I can't see all the RTW fares from a specific point of origin? eg, looking for RTW fares out of CAI, I could see most of the OneWorld and Star Alliance Fares but the one I was after - DONE4 was not listed.
I have also noticed this for a handful of other origins that I have searched, so I figured might ask the question. |

Hello,
I notice that the Booking Class table is not well formatted. It seems "REQUIRED WHEN AVAILABLE" should really fit into one column—the same column as "REQUIRED"—rather than overspill into the next column. At present it makes the table a little difficult to read as some rows have more columns than others. Also, BA "T" fares are premium economy fares, but they are not listed as such on the Fare Informations Results page at the moment. Here is an example of the first problem. Results from ExpertFlyer.com Code:

There appear to be a couple of bugs in the template for the Aircraft Change Notification emails.
First, the body of the email says "This is a notification that your Aircraft Change Alert XXXX has detect a change in aircraft." That typo looks a bit untidy. More substantively, the details section has two lines which read something like this:- Code:
Aircraft: Boeing 737-400 (734) |

Thank you for pointing out the grammar error, however we could not replicate the issue with the same equipment code being listed twice in the notification email. We just ran a test and saw that both the prior and current aircraft codes were being correctly sent. Please email [email protected] with your information and the information about the specific alert so we can take a look at it in our database.

Seems to me that you aren't specifying any airline(s) and are hitting up against a maximum number of fares being displayed
