I thought so also until I found Hola Unblocker. Hola Unblocker is *slightly* easier because it's still available in the Chrome App Store, and because you can add more sites than are available for Media Hint.

Cool. With either though no need for vpn, so I'm unsure why people keep wanting the higher overhead of a vpn (unless they have other security reasons or whatever)

I use PIA (private internet access) and it works excellent. Great speeds and plenty of choices. Plus they have a android app, so I can VPN on my tablets without any issues.

'I use Streaming VPN ( http://www.streamingvpn.com ) and it's extremely easy to use. The customer support and pricing is unbeatable.', 'Have you tried Streaming VPN? Seems to be pretty good and easy to use as well. Can't beat the service of Streaming VPN.

Can someone explain from a technical standpoint exactly what Hola Better Internet does? A few people have mentioned it in this thread and others. NEar as I can tell, it's a proxy that uses other Hola users as the proxy server and bounces the request off several users (sort of like Tor without the encryption) until it gets an "exit user" in the country you want to appear to be from.

Not very technical in its explanations, though.
