Hi guys, thanks for keeping the apps coming.
Re. Android/iPhone apps and FlyerTalk - I never noticed FT getting a plugin for TapaTalk.
Now Tapatalk's recent updates have meant it fails to open on my HTC Magic (still stock ROM on 1.5; no official update available as promised to 2.1 yet )
Anyone using TapaTalk or do you find using a browser like Dolphin is good enough?
PS Thanks, Scott, for making these Apps threads sticky.

Air Traffic Control Status US Lite version available!
I was fortunate to be able to beta test this application a while back. The developers have released a lite version of the application if you want to try it out before buying (though the Google Market lets you try apps for 24 hours if you cancel the purchase). This version is not crippled except for the widget refresh rate is fixed (i.e. changing the default configuration will have no effect) and it has advertisements (so clicking on the ads gets them some pennies).
With the latest v1.3 release (full and lite) clicking on the widget will put up a window that lists all the current FAA reports which is handy when we have really bad weather days and one just wants to see everything at once.
Also, the developers are pretty responsive if you email them or leave comments at their blog. I've been testing a number of the releases and have been very happy with the results.

I quite like the Tricorder - and for me it's even useful at identifying where I may get more interference with my hearing aids!
It's also lots of fun.

App that prevents phone loss
I have this great app called Phone Halo. It comes with a tracking device I can put on my keys or briefcase and the keys and tracking device ring if I leave one behind. The app has prevented me from leaving my phone behind several times. I bought the system at http://www.phonehalo.com/

Free traffic app
The free traffic app has never let me down...accurate info about expressway "incidents" and how fast traffic is moving...a must in major metro areas!

For non-major cities that have no traffic data Waze works well if there are enough Waze users. It also does turn by turn, voice navigation.

I continue to like Sipdroid more and more. The phone quality is fantastic - easily better than regular landline calls here in the UK. Even over 3G and EDGE the voice quality is perfectly satisfactory. A+

I've been playing around with Citrix Receiver. Allows me to connect to my company's Citrix farm. You'll need to have external Citrix access or some way to VPN to your corporate network from the phone first.
