Okay! Okay! I confess! I admit it! I clicked on a MoreMiles link in The Buzz! today just to see what the hubbub was all about.
And now I can't access my favorite forum (AA)? Like I've said before, I'm not a big believer in coincidences!
Seriously, though: tech folks, perhaps some news/an update on what's going on?

THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!
I have something critical I need to find, and accessing--let alone navigating (forget searching)--has been at a glacial pace. I'm screwed...
Will SOMEONE please comment on an ETA re: when performance will be back to what we're accustomed? I don't know whether I should just give up for the night, or what...

Wow, ILTE, you must be going nuts if you're posting in straight prose...
Really, how long does it take to type in, "We know. We're working on it. Go to bed, everyone," or something like that?

Has the irony dawned on anyone that the ONLY two airline boards graced with our new "must have for your own good" MODERATORS are the only two down? Very Freudian I think.
Tried a bight idea to check at least hot threads by trying to click onto this in main Forum index page:

And back to "normal" again this morning - for those keeping score!
BUT... Now it has once again bogged down - so much so that it's nearly impossible to get into the UA or AA fora!

Maybe aa.com has rubbed off on FlyerTalk. The AA forum is not responding again, after the brief uptime overnight.

Does anyone from FlyerTalk Technical ever post a status/answer questions on what is going on with the site and why the AA Forum is down? Or are we in the web version of voicemail jail?

The entire board seemed to be better early this morning around 6am CST. Now it's back to being very slow.
PING and TRACERT show good network speed so I suspect it's the server/app. Howsabout rebooting da server!

Until the ridiculous 20 partners contest is over at AA, there will be nothing worth reading on the AA forum anyway for those of us more moderate mile collectors.
