restaurants in Switzerland open also inside area from today...
so no excuse anymore for Swiss to serve no food and beverage in the lounge

Aspire Lounge (Priority Pass etc.) in ZRH Airside Center Schengen open again as of tomorrow (Source).

Swiss A lounges (business and Senator) offer food and beverage from tomorrow 1. June but with limited opening times (mo-we until 1300 only, other days until 1800)

as LH is opening F lounge and FCT in FRA from tomorrow, I wonder, how long Swiss will wait with opening their FCL?

In a few weeks I'll be transiting IAD-ZRH-IST on *A business class with a long layover at ZRH (12 hours). Will I likely be limited to non-schengen areas and if so are there any lounges that might be available to non-schengen? Sorry for the possibly stupid question, I've never been to ZRH and don't really understand the terminal dynamics. Thanks!

At this time, no lounges are open in the Non-Schengen zone.
Whether you are able to enter the Schengen zone depends on your paperwork (citizenship, residence, vaccination status etc.) and there is ample discussion of this in other threads and forums.

Thank you for posting the link to the lounges.

I’m flying IAD-ZRH this week and really enjoyed the Arrivals Lounge and, then, the E gate lounge for my outbound flights. Also, flying IAD-ZRH in early September. Unfortunately, looks like I’m out of luck for the time being. Probably not worth it to go to any “A” gate lounges with flying out of “E” gates.

Not sure if this is brand new but E-lounges were open until 14.00 today. I was surprised by this as the SWISS website indicated they were still closed.

I’m in the E Senator Lounge this morning. Food offerings include premade omelet, baked beans and bread. Orange and tomato juices. Wine and beer. Coffee and tea.
