Note that the D lounge is closed temporarily as of today.

Swiss will extend it's "minimum flight schedule" till 17th of May.

Thus, lounges will stay closed till then (at least) - that's at least my educated guess

I'm starting to fear for my F trip to New York in late May/early June.

Realistically I've already accepted its impossibility and its eventual cancellation.

I really looked forward to trying the Muc Satellite F Lounge as well as the FRA FCT and my first ever flight on the B747!
As well as missing out on the new LX F lounge in JFK and the GVA F lounge.

I still have SOME hope for my next longer trip overseas in October.

My June trip? I doubt it will happen. And that's within Schengen, to a lesser affected country.. the other trips (till then) are cancelled already.. even if I could travel by then, it would be no fun.

Frankly, if LH/LX allow me to shorten my NYC trip I'll jump on that. I'm not sure I'd take a direct return, but I'd even consider that. I agree it'd take a lot of the fun away.

I have another one in September to SIN and HKG as well with all the family. They already talked with me about cancelling it, but given the recent uncertainty I think the best thing to do is to wait and see.

Wait and see indeed.

I'd definitely not fancy to spend either miles or even flying on a cheap F fare when the lounges are closed and the food onboard is pre-packed sandwiches with water. And the destination would be literally under quarantine.

A nice F seat alone won't cut it

Luckily SAS will credit me the miles for corona cancelled trips, so I wouldn't even need to fly for the miles. And since the destination is closed I'd only really be able to visit and say hi to some friends, so the biggest aspect would be the F experience, which afaik on LH onboard is not cut back at all, but on the ground appears rather sad. Will evaluate this once the time for decisions comes.

Hello,
i booked a flight in first to Singapore through SWISS one bound is operated by SIA.
at Zurich airport, I will have access to the dedicated Swiss first class lounge (the one with the hotel room) as I booked through Swiss ?
or I’ll be considered as a star Alliance and be only allowed in the other Lounge ?
thank you

There have been several reports of people being able to access the Swiss FCL on the LX CS number of the SQ flight, despite technically not being allowed. I'd just try my luck and report back here.

Knew the Aspire was open but with increasing flights, I was wondering if the LX lounges were starting to open yet. Guess will have to wait and see.

Still Aspire lounge unfortunately, it is not bad, but I don't understand why they close from 12:30 to 15:30!

LX A open as waiting area, no food no beverage (you also can't take any into the lounge and consume there)
None in D (non Schengen area)
