I’m 2 meters tall (6’7”) with size 13 feet. I’m senator and have the choice of 6A or 4D or 4G on the 330. Side sleeper and red-eye flught. Any advice?

My choice would be 4D - which gives more room but of course also is open to the aisle. 6A and 4G may be too narrow for you with tables on both sides. All have the wider foot space that bulkheads have.

On an A333, any preference for 8K vs. 14K in the last row of the J cabin? I guess it's a question of being closer to the aisle vs. closer to economy. Thanks!

First time flying F for honeymoon. Unfortunately the first seems rather full so we are seated 1K and 2K.
Would rather sit together of course but only 2G is available. What's the chance of asking the SEN hotline to somehow manage to get me the 2D seat? Would they be able to contact the other person to change or will I have to wait for boarding and ask directly which is a bit weird? |

Window+aisle: 5AB in the minicabin, Two aisles: bulkhead paid 4DG, 6DG for increased room for feet. |

What is a better seating option for a party of four, the entire row 1 or one side of the plane (1 and 2 AD)?

I booked tickets through United for SFO-ZRH-VCE back in April. The flights are on Swiss metal. When I received the Swiss PNR, I paid for seat reservations. The SFO-ZHR leg has been stable and seating has not changed as it continues to be on a 77. However, the flight from ZHR to VCE seems to change almost weekly. When it does, we lose our seat assignments and I have to explain it all to CS and show my receipts in order to get reassigned. This just happened for literally the twentieth time! It's absurd and though I've asked the reps to permanently fix it no one seems to know how. Any suggestions on who to contact or will they even care?

That sounds crazy, but for an hour-long flight, I think I'd just say the heck with it and deal with seating during check-in or at the gate/on board.

Thanks, but my wife is a nervous flyer, so sitting together is mandatory. It's also the principle of the matter. Since I had to pay extra for seat selection, I'm averse to taking leftovers at the gate.

Free seat selection
Does swiss still allow free seat selection during check-in? Long haul to BKK on probably cheapest possible booking class.
There is conflicting info on this. In some places it says for a fee, in faq it says Of course, you can still choose from the available seats free of charge (excluding all European flights with the Light fare), when you check in for your flight. Check-in normally starts 23 hours before departure. Please note that the choice may be limited |
