Get ready for the wine list...should be posted in the wiki later today. It's wild!

I shall sit down before I look at prices

The minibar pricing should be indicative. In the Maldives minibar pricing is pretty identical to bar pricing.

Wines from the 1700s...you can imagine what price tag those might have!

I'll spoil some of the fun. A few are priced slightly below the ones listed on the minibar menu.

You'll feel better after washing it down with some 1995 Romanee-Conti Grand Cru, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti.

435K for 7 nights, most in one of the overwater suites. Trying to get by with paying less than $2,000 in incidentals while there. Seaplane transfer round trip can be redeemed for about 50K points per person.

Has anyone heard any more about the Starpoint instant rewards for food, beverage, and spa activities? As of two weeks ago, the redemption values had not yet been determined.

Water sports activities are operated by a 3rd party, so unfortunately no points can be used to redeem for these.

I was not as horrified by the wine list as I expected to be. There are some gems on there.

So too is the seaplane - so maybe there's a way of doing it?

That would be nice, although the hotel told me in an email that the water sport activities would not be redeemable. Bummer.

I do like that we can get kayaks free of charge. Will definitely be using that. Going to try to bring snorkeling gear (fins, booties, and masks) if my luggage will allow it.

Am I the only one that has anxiety over how quickly these charges are going to accumulate? Lol
Really hope the reward options are wide-ranging

Was thinking of a last minute Xmas trip there. Quoting 120K per night for Overwater with pool and 140K for beach villa with pool.

Seems steep.

Oh I share the anxiety! Terrified...can't even bring a duty free bottle to help with alcohol costs!
