I actually would've appreciated that because I have no desire to stay at a couple of more SPG properties to get 9000 points.

I would have preferred your offer since I have 6 brands this year and I get no bonus unless I get at least 9.

I was thinking the same thing about 500 points instead of 5000 for five brands versus 9000+ for nine+ brands, but I suppose it makes some [inconvenient] sense. I just wrapped a stay up at a Luxury Collection hotel this past weekend and have reached the five brand benchmark [Sheraton, Westin, W, Le Méridien, Luxury Collection], so I'm looking forward to getting those points within the next few weeks.
Some more generosity wouldn't have gone amiss, but a little prize is better than none I suppose!

Has anyone received their bonus miles? I had my ninth brand stay more than two weeks ago and still have not received the 9,000 bonus points. I remember seeing the statement on my dashboard that I had achieved 9 brands and earned the 9,000 points. Now, of course, it has been re-set.
Perhaps I am being impatient, but my experience is that normally things post within one week or never, despite any vague "2-4 weeks after your stay" statements.

The point is that this is a new promo for 2016. Will be up to 10 brands tomorrow and have the 11th done next month
