Yes, if you have the VIP card you can use the VIP line. You still need to pay cover generally, but can bypass all of the other lines.

At Drai's one time I was able to bypass line & cover with the VIP card, and another time was only able to use the VIP line. I think we just got lucky the first time

Most people throughout Vegas and especially at Harrah's New Orleans had never seen the card before and often had to check with a supervisor.

I am stuck with the wrong number connected to my spg account and there is no option to change it. Spg research told me to change it at www.spg.com/caesars , but of course there was no way to do it. Anyone got any idea what to do?

What have been peoples experiences with time for stays at Caesars Properties to post to SPG accounts?
In January a stay at The Cromwell posted 15 days after checkout. Does anyone care to share other data points?

In 2014, I stayed at Caesar's April 4-6 and it posted to my SPG account on May 1. A friend stayed during the same time and it took weeks and countless emails to get her credit.

I just completed a three night stay at the Flamingo so I am curious to see how it goes this time.

Call directly. Some things in this world work best with old methods.

As an example, I struggled with the mLife website for a week, trying to do a simple password recovery. Multiple e-mails were ignored. I finally called in, and the issue was resolved in 10 minutes.

Staying at Paris Las Vegas on Thursday and my accounts are linked, but can someone confirm what I should do at check-in to ensure that I get credit for my stay through SPG?

In answer to your specific question, if your accounts are linked then you do not need to do anything at check-in to ensure you receive the SPG credit.

I would like to make a reservation for the Harrah's New Orleans. Does anyone know if there has ever been any problems w/ getting your stay/points accounted for? And can anyone let me know how nice it is, how to avoid parking fees; etc or where to go from here to find out please? I haven't found too much on here about Total Rewards hotels. Currently using Trip Advisor for some of these reviews.

I've never had any issues with getting the stay/points credited. Of course, you must ensure that your Total Rewards # and SPG # are linked.

The hotel is very nice. It is across the street from the casino. However, the casino may be reached via an underground walkway from the hotel. Lots of choices for dining on Fulton Street right next to the hotel.

If you must pay for parking, the hotel garage is extremely cheap (about $4/day IIRC). However, depending on your TR status such as Diamond/Platinum, the parking may be free. Inquire about the parking by calling the hotel prior to arrival.

The casino parking garage also provides 4 hours of free parking for 30 mins of gambling. Just get your ticket validated.

OK, so here's what just happened. When I went to make the reservation about 3 hrs ago.....I managed to find out that I would be comped for 2 nights (I was looking for 3 nights there but the 3rd day is like $261: and that's w/ my military discount). I booked the 2 days, 9/20-22 ($38 a/i).
I then found out that the NO Marriott is a TR/Harrah's NO partner and tried to make a res w/ them but it wouldn't go through online. It was for $69 but $62 after my discount). After nearly 2 hrs, 1 of the nicest ladies via TR finally booked me in for the $62, $124 a/i minus the resort fees and and taxes b/c of the online issue (9/23-25). I lose out on 3% w/ cashback portal "simply best coupons" but I have no real complaint. I also read that parking was free.
My question after this lengthy book is: will I get a stay for the Marriott? And what do I get from TR, points wise. Even w/ the comped nights it said that I get 38 pts, but that was Harrah's NO. I should, correct. But she didn't ask for my Marriott # and I forgot to mention it (duh). I know that I receive nothing for the comped nights.
I'm Marriott Gold, that's why I didn't do the Sheraton. The much better 1/2 is the gambler so we'll get our fair share of TR in unless SPG gives it to Marriott.
If I can get my last 2 days in cheap at the HGI MSY (9/25-27 and near the Treasure Chest Casino - a riverboat), then everything will work out perfect w/ the AA PHL-MSY deal that ends at 12 PM for me (res on hold).

I was just told that I can't get credit for points and/or nights for a stay at Paris LV from 3 weeks ago because I didn't book online. Anyone else ever heard this or know if I can speak to someone about getting credit for my stay?

You should contact Total Rewards and ask them to look into it.

Thanks, but it was actually Total Rewards that told me this, which I'd never heard of before. I'm guessing this means SPG isn't likely to be able to assist either.

Missing stays/transactions from Caesars participating properties are the responsibility of Total Rewards. You might try escalating it to one of their supervisors for a second review.
