Maybe this screenshot from Yahoo isn't totally up to date, but did anyone else notice that DEN doesn't have a symbol saying it's a WN destination?
Regardless, this is great news. Hopefully the FCC will certify this and it'll be up and running fleet wide in a year or so. I'd pay to use it on most of my longer weekday flights. Bonus points if BS and A-list get free or discounted access.

I'm not so sure. Alaska is talking about giving free or discounted access to their elites or FC passengers. I don't see why they couldn't ask for your name/RR # or PNR when you go to buy it....how this works on the back end though, I don't know....

On the back end...my edumacated guess is the systems know you're A-List based on RR#, and they know you're Biz Select based on the fare code.

Greetings from N901...currently en-route at 35,000 feet from SNA-SJC.
THRILLED when I saw the plane pull up to the gate this morning. Saw the hump on the back and then saw the tail number. The flight had come in from PHX, and when I boarded, the FA said that nobody on the previous flight could connect.
But I connected without issue. Speed is spotty...but it works.

Pricing on Virgin
CBS this am had a segment on Virgin's wireless with the AirCell CEO. Pitched how great it is - did not mention speed.
They stated that the pricing (IIRC) was going to be 9.95 for short haul and 12.95 for long flights, with monthly passes and other promos available.

Gee augie, Samuel Morse's first teletype was "what hath God wrought?" and Alexander Graham Bell's first words were "Mr. Watson, come here. I need to see you." Couldn't you have give us something like "That's one small login for man, one giant Internet for mankind"?

Waiting at the SWA gate
Going back to when I was first flying on DC3's on Lake Central or 707's on AA, there was always the anticipation of the airplane arriving at the gate - like seeing the locomotive pull into the station.
On Southwest, it used to be....
1. Will it be a 200 or 300
2. For the kids, will it be Shamu
3. Later on, will it be a 700
4. Now, it is will it have a big hump on top
