Dear Matthrew,

I am interested for the policy too.
How about for the condition without further accident?

Hi fai88119, Can you explain "condition without further accident" so I can specifically answer the question. Thanks, Matt

People of Sixt,

I have a little question about the use of a voucher as payment.

I have enough points from bahn.bonus (Deutsche Bahn) to get a 50€ Sixt voucher. How do I use this and what are the restrictions?

Manly: can I book before I have this voucher and present it when I collect the car? And I assume it only works on the flex tarif. Could this be confirmed?

Hi Syme, The best thing to do is create a flexible reservation and note that you will be using a voucher when placing the booking. I hope this helps, Matt

Thanks Matthew, exactly what I needed to know! ^

Also, I see an offer on sixt.de for 57€ weekend rentals from German airports, but when you click to add CDW, the price shoots way up. The costs added are far greater than the usual, and it kind of takes the wind out of that offer's sails. Would you be able to confirm it's not some pricing error if you have a chance?

Thanks

Hi Syme,

The price of CDW does depend on the vehicle category and also the level of excess you choose. Sometimes adding CDW at the time of reservation is preferable compared to doing so at the branch. Feel free to PM me with further info if you would like me to check it out. Matt

How about if it is puncturing of the tire by a sharp object?

Hi fai88119, Each instance of a punctured tyre varies related to the circumstances. When you collect a vehicle it is checked prior to the hire to make sure is it provided in the correct condition. Generally; if your excess is zero then there will be no charge and if your excess is, i.e. 500 EUR, you will be liable for repairs up to this value. I advise you to check the local rental information and terms of your rental to know exactly what the figures are as it varies from location to location. I hope this is useful, Matt

Orlando July specials?

I am interested in renting 7/4 - 7/14 in Orlando, but the prices are sky high compared to the other companies. Do you have any special coming up for this time frame? I am would like a quote on a 7 passenger minivan or a 4-5 passenger car.

Thanks!

Hi Crickee, You can follow this link to our Orlando Airport page on the Sixt website - http://www.sixt.com/car-rental/usa/o...do-int-airport. On this page you will find a best deals section. I hope this helps, Matt

Another condition, if the driver is not familiar with the car model, and the car was damaged unluckily while parking.
In this condition, is the CDW with $0 excess covered for all the repair cost?

Hi. Why its like that when i want to make booking for 5 days the price per day suddenly is twice more than for 4 days rent. Also total price for 5 days is the same for 6 and even 7 days. Is that normal?(London stansted airport from 28.june.

After 2-3 weeks Matt got back to me with a 30 Euro coupon on an unhappy 1000+ Euro rental which I can apply in the future to my next rental. Perhaps that will offset the final screw-you where I was charged 175 Euro for half a tank of gas after I dropped off the car. As unhappy as ever.

did you return the car full?
