I clearly understood in the first place what you want.
the clear answer to that is: no, it is impossible. there is no exception to this following company policy. the hint Matt gave you with his answer was, that most likely it is not going to be a problem, especially if you tell the rental agent, when you take the car with you. but as you dont understand this and insist on a written answer on something which is not allowed: good luck. and obviously Matt cannot write an answer like that. so maybe you should be very happy that someone who is not officially representing the company, is explaining you what you dont want to understand because it doesnt fit to your schedule. |

You are now on my ignore list sixtisbest, so don't bother replying. As I said, I have now taken this enquiry offline and do not require any further replies here to my question from you or anyone else. |
sorry, that you did not get the answer you were looking for.
maybe you should ask in another forum. btw, I am not interpreting anything, I am telling you what the rule in germany is, whether you like it or not. And instead of being happy, that Matt is trying to help you to stretch the rules a bit by entering a comment in your reservation, you are still complaining. some people are seriously unbelievable. |
Summer Rentals
Hi Everyone,
Lets get a new ball rolling...what's your favorite rental destination and why? Matt |
Anywhere that's sunny - because it means not being in the UK! :D

Germany, specifically Munich Schwabing Sixt, because it's about 10 minutes from my flat there. :D
Also, because Sixt Germany seem to be one of the few who hire companies who realise someone aged 20 can be given a nice car and not return it in 74 separate pieces. Trust, and generally very high driving standards in Germany though. ^ The best part is that when I return to the UK in late July, I will be unable to rent from Sixt UK, despite having a Sixt Platinum card  |
Some good suggestions on here. I personally like the Zurich Airport location when visiting friends.
@sn1ke I hope for a great summer in the UK...don't get many tan lines! Matt |
July Specials?
Will the July specials in the US show up before July 1? I know this is a crazy question, but I am traveling next week. Thanks!
|
When will MIA get an express lane or the ability to use my code from my Passbook to retrieve my car? I rent about every other week and it's a crapshoot on how quickly I can be on the road.
My wait today was pretty bad - for the trouble I did get an upgrade and the gentleman was very helpful but could only tell me that express service was coming "soon". |

Hi Syme, The best thing to do is create a flexible reservation and note that you will be using a voucher when placing the booking. I hope this helps, Matt
I'm using the BMW Frankfurter Ring office this time in Munich, since it came up cheaper. Would I be right in guessing that they would have a bigger than normal BMW pool of cars? :D |
Hi Sixt representatives,
Few days ago when I collect my car for a road trip in Munich, I expected a bimmer (prebooked ITMR) , after reaching the branch, the branch rep said I'm Too Young to drive a bimmer (turning 23 this Nov) and gave me a Golf cabrio instead. I didn't realise that is a downgrade (paying the price of ITMR and getting a CTMR). Now I just realised I overpaid and the rep Didn't mention anything about this. I'm quite sad since this is my first rental with sixt and thinking to cancel the next one and take the DB. Hope rep of Sixt can give me a proper explanation... Thanks. |

Which branch was this in? |
