Sorry about the basics, but is PDAR or LDAR a higher class? I ask because the LDAR is starred as premium but the PDAR costs more... (by only a couple of dollars a day).

Anyone else have any opinions on which to get to maximise my chances of an upgrade? I have decided that having the 7/XDAR guaranteed is not worth the additional $350 for 3 nights.

LDAr is higher than PDAR.

Cynicor, Please book what you are happy to drive, then if you get an upgrade it is a bonus.
I booked an LDAR with a request not to get a 5GT as I think they are ugly great things. They gave me a LWAR 530d Xdrive Touring with almost all extras. It is very nice, fast . Yes an XDAR would be nice but I am happy with what I booked. I did notice in the garage that there were no XDAR and only better cars were a VW Touareg and 6 cabrio, neither of which would I have wanted

Thanks for all the advice. I am happy to drive anything really, but would like to maximise my chances of an upgrade to something even better, hence the questions.

They are also for my learning, as it seemed as if LDAR was better ( from reading here) but PDAR was pricier. I will book an LDAR and be happy with that. What's wrong with the 5ER GT? Is it significantly bigger than the 530d?

Gary,

Looking to rent a XCAR catagory from your Orlando Airport location in florida. What are the likely vehicles in this catagory?.

Cynicor Mar 29, 2013 2:18 am

Must have read something wrong at some point. The XDAR was only 140 EUR more expensive overall so I have just booked that.

Thank you to everyone for the help and answers.

Hi xtraaa,

Zero excess covers the vehicle for the eventuality of scratches, dents and crashes that are unintentional and/or unavoidable. The fine terms of the rental contract can vary from country to country so I do advise for you to read the T&C's of the respective country to know the exclusions and inclusions. Generally speaking negligent driving, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, roof damage and under carriage damage are some of the elements excluded from the zero excess policy. Please find more information at the following links - clicking on the terms and conditions link at the bottom of the pages.

Many thanks

LDAR in Munich Stachus

Hi Gary / Matthew
May I know what is the current fleet as well as engine models of LDAR class in the station of Stachus , Munich?
How much is the possibility of getting a petrol engine car rather than diesel ?
Furthermore, how much will Sixt hold in my credit card when I pick up a LDAR car?
Thanks a lot.

yeah, that's the fleet list info from the web page, but they are sample models. question is, which cars are *actually* in the fleet in this group? bmw 3 series, audi a4 avant?

Does Sixt charge for an additional driver (not family member) in France? Is there any age limit if they are 68 years old?

the fleet at 11am or at 4pm? which day? today? tomorrow?
probability of Diesel is currently 56,98% on even Mondays, otherwise 45,3%. unless it is full moon. then rather 51%.

deposit is twice the rental price if paid by creditcard.
if prepaid, it is 150€.
