I am lookimg forward in renting the XTAR in Berlin / europa center this summer (june). Are there any chances of getting the car (bmw 6-series convertible or merc SL)?

If not, what would be the upgrade?

Also, is there any chance of seeing the M3 convertible summer deal this year? (I am renting for 21 days)

there is hardly anything higher than XTAR. what do you want to be upgraded to? rolls royce?

XXAX Porsche Panamera for one. But then he´s hardly likely to find one of those.

XTMR? It's an M6 Cabrio, rather than a standard 6 Cabrio, so that's a quasi-upgrade to most people.

Not much other choice really. Unless you find a tariff with unlimited KMs. Depends what you really want :)

Any europeans here? Renting from Sweden, have a question.

I have been looking for a good deal on a 2 week rental in Orlando june. Been renting from Hertz for the last 6-7 years but Sixt has so much great reviews on this forum so I´ve been thinking about trying them out. Especially because they seem to have a better fleet.

Everytime I checked, Sixt could match Hertz on an LCAR for 2 weeks. I have Gold status but that doesnt really give me a better deal, except from being able to chose between what Hertz have avaliable.

Anyway, today when I was checking Sixt out again the price was almost 40% higher than before. 40% !!!!

Did anybody else notice this or know what this is? Did they have very looong sale at MCO that just stopped or....

I'm looking to book 1 way from Berlin to Loerrach in June this year. I need to rent it on a Sunday so that limits my choice of pickup location, but I have 2 questions.

1. Is there a 'better' location in Berlin to collect the car? I am using the Europa centre currently for my quotes.

2. As a status match platinum from HH diamond, what should I book to maximise my chances of getting the BMW 7 or similar XDAR? I know the obvious answer is to book the category I want, but what is 1 category below?

Hi, sorry to bother you but i do have a few questions for my upcoming rentals with sixt in June.
Me and my girl friend are about to travel to germany for around 12 days and planning to drive from Berlin to Stuttgart (stopover @ Nuremberg and Heidelberg), also, Stuttgart to Munich.
Since I will be the only one who is driving, i'd love to get my foot on different wheels and this is where the problems originate.

1. Is the class - SSMR has only Manuel box, even i opt for auto? (plan to drive safe)
2. same question but to LSMR class
3. What cars are normally seen in ITMR, SSMR and LSMR? (rarely discussed)
4. Will the deposited be refunded upon the return of the car? Like 1-2 days?

Final question...
5. Possible to reserve LTMR (age restriction:23) if i'm few months left to turn 23?

has anybody any idea about which cars are in the FWAR category (apart from the mentioned C class and V60)?

1. I don't know. Auto is generally a request, and not a guarantee. If you can't drive manual, then I assume they will try and find you something appropriate.
2. Probably a mix, but not sure.
3. I had an ITMR last October, it was a BMW 120d automatic (so ITAR really), and the VW Eos was also in the fleet at the time. SSMR is mainly VW Sciroccos, Peugeot RCZs as far as I know. LSMR, could be anything 3 Series Coupe, so 318d upwards more or less. C-Class coupe also, but I don't know what versions Sixt has.
4. As long as there are no issues, deposit tends to be back within 5 working days, usually quicker I find.
5. Should be fine, as long as you're old enough at the time of collection.

If you really want an XDAR then book that group, I suspect the office may be less inclined to give you one of the nicest cars on a oneway to the Swiss border. If that is not the case then you would need an LDAR

not really. neither of them are worth the money.

better take LDAR, it is cheaper and has automatic and similar or better engines...

SSMR has currently scirocco and Audi TT.
