Goldflyer Lounge is substandard in some ways

I have not been to any lounge in decades where it was not possible to get a sugar free Coke or Pepsi product but none were on offer. Compared to Air Canada’s lounges that offer 6 or more choices of wine the 2 on offer at Goldflyer were disappointing as well and of poor quality. Why so limited in beverage offering?

tks!
Yes, but you'll need to ask (at least in C). On my last flight the FA denied the existence of an amenity kit and referred to it as "free gift". The first thing which appeared upon opening the "free gift" was a tag saying "amenity kit".

They are being weird when it comes to dealing with cost savings these days.

I'm flying biz (I) from JFK to SIN next June - I hope the world is more back to normal by then...

How strict are they with weighing carry on baggage at Changi? How about at Male? Just want to know how careful I need to be with the 7kg limit.

Not strict at SIN. Others can inform on MLE.

Does aircraft type change (from A380 to B77W) occur very often on SIN-LHR route in general? I am trying to book an F award far ahead (Nov. 2023). Right now SQ306/318 is B77W and SQ308 is A380. Really want to experience the suite on A380 Thanks a lot in advance!

the sure bet is SQ322.
SQ308 just swap to A380 recently. Whether it remain in Winter 23 no one know.

pre covid, there were time where there are 3 A380 deploy on the LHR route.

interesting. I just booked suites to LHR for June (since my sin-fra-jfk will no longer be suites) and 308 was the only a380 flight that month - all others seemed to be 77w?

hmm just checked through 6/8-6/12 and every day is just sq306 and sq318 on 77w and sq308 some days on a380. Not seeing sq322 at all… I must be doing something wrong.

hey pesos, I think you might be searching using the redeem function. This won't show flights where there is no award or waitlist. Here's the schedule for June 8 (308 and 322 operate every day in June using the A380):

Does 308 often swap out for operational reasons or would this be a far in advance schedule/equip change like we've just seen for SIN-FRA-JFK?

I am also booked on 308 (in spring 2023) but am only taking that route to fly SQ suites. Would be disappointed if they swapped equip at the last minute when it's too late to find something else.

Flying SIN-EWR this week, are the center seats identical or is it alternating like the 787 Seats? e.g. is one row type better for a couple?

Flying Suites FRA-JFK - do I risk them not having what I want if I don't pre-select the meal? I'm between a few of the in flight menu options and rather wait and see what I feel like having in the moment.
