This is America, he can do whatever he wants. Just making observations which is what a forum is for.

I would assume he continues to do it because he enjoys it. Anyone who reads his blog can tell how passionate he is about air travel. I don’t get as excited about the journey as he does (I see it more of a necessity get where I want to go), but his enthusiasm means really informative airplane reviews.
If you can make a lot of money blogging about your obsession, and that involves luxury travel, well, why wouldn’t you keep doing it?

I guess more political is technically correct as every once in a while very rarely from never is by definition more, but again if you dont like it dont read, and certainly dont respond on a different forum about the blog.

Just took a quick look - on the first page right now, every story but two is aviation/hotels/points. (Exceptions are "travel influencer" and a bonus on Rakuten).

Its not a complaint. We have the first amendment for a reason he can do whatever he wants. Its just that his blog is becoming more and more political and Im just confused as to why he doesnt either: A) change to a political blog or B) sell it.

Some of the bigger BoardingArea.com and other miles/points/travel-covering blogs have become even more politically-charged than usual during this pandemic, but many of these blogs were already heavily loaded in this regard for quite some time and then some.
VFTW? Check. TheGate? Check. LiveandLetFly? Check. Dansdeals? Check. Why would OMAAT be an exception at this time?
Just because I don't always agree with the political stances of a travel-covering blogger -- or other travel sites' editorial angle/bending of a forum -- doesn't mean their site has no use for me and isn't still valuable for travel purposes. If anything, it's just par for the course that I and others in the audience have to sift and mine for information to find whatever ore/veins of material is valuable to us and accept the reality that trying to strip out all politics from travel forums is not too far removed from trying to fly commercially without petroleum-based jet-fuel.

social media / pressure bigger factor than audience
billion miles of award bookings = 7 figures in fees
credit card revenue not among top, not acquired
turkey was probably for value, regardless of details
in past admitted love of buffets outweighed germs

You should ask for a refund from the airline news publication then.

I wasnt aware there was an associated press of airline news organizations to ask for a refund to. This is why I come on this forum to learn new things by people so informative and smart like you. Youre so smart, and so great. God bless you.
