Construction starts on the building expansion and they'll be a closure of one narrow body gate for a 4 month period. This is to rehang temporary bridges. For those who've arrived at M19 previously, the farthest new temp gate (M22) will be around 900' further east.
Does that mean F9 will be doing a majority of the bussing?

Probably AA and UA as they only need busses to deplane passengers.

The priorities for who gets bused are still be discussed. For now though, it's narrow body only.

Thanks for the heads-up. So what's the timeline for the expanded terminal opening?

Is it just out of date or is the T5->T1/2/3 direction supposed to be secret or only used for "express connections" still?
This website has been updated and now reads:

"If you arrive at O'Hare on an international flight and have a connecting domestic flight, you will arrive at Terminal 5. You may only use the TTB if you have rechecked your luggage and if you have a boarding pass for your connection. Proceed through Terminal 5 security to Gate M1. If you are arriving internationally and mush check -in for your connecting flight, you may not use this service. "

They finally made clear what was always the case once they starting the TTB in both directions. You have to recheck you luggage first (of course you have to, you can't bring it through security). You have to have checked in for your onward domestic flight and have a boarding pass (how else can you clear security at T5?).

Having trouble finding clear info so looking to the experts for help. Elderly parents are arriving ORD at T3, G concourse on AA and connecting to LHR on BA out of T5. I can't find the answers to the following questions:
1) How often does the airside TTB between T3 and T5 run?
2) Are wheelchair assistance passengers accommodated appropriately on the airside TTB from T3-T5? Both my parents can walk but my mom needs to use wheelchair assistance in airports for distance. They will be headed to the BA lounge in T5 near gates M11/12.

I was hearing August, but that's dependent on what UA and AA are doing domestically.

Quick question and I am sorry if it has been answered - how are the connections being done from T5 to T2 now with the TTB being closed?
