AND after several years the old system finally seemed to understand my accent. Now I'm back to square one although the new system does auto forward you to an agent after three failures to understand you.

It will never be Harvard since Jeff is an alum Seriously, the merger is already being looked at under the microscope...it is already being studied and taught at Wharton (per Mrs.1KPath who is a visiting prof there)...they are looking at the cultural differences of two organizations being merged and how these differences have an impact on the success of a merger...so far the academics are giving it a C- with the reasoning that the more "established" entity is having the culture of the "lesser" entity placed on it...resulting in the "disenfranchisement" and " "disillusion"of a greater number of employees and customers and the potential "diminution" of the more established branding. (Note...these are their "words", not mine!)
+1^ An absolute correct assessment. And to think that a Harvard grad doesn't have the common sense to realize his mistakes.

Yay, finally seeing some PQMs for flights on 3/4 as well. Though flight activity on 3/3 is still missing completely.
But: Lifetime miles don't reflect this, and the progress bar is not moving.

In an unrelated note, it looks like the 500 mile minimum for PQMs is still in effect for Silvers?

Will past reservations be updated as well?

I'm asking because not all the six flights I took between 3/1-3 have been credited and the problem might be the wrong class. When I tried the online request with the eticket number yesterday, it said that the miles are already credited.
The classes before integration and current posting situations are:
  1. 3/1 PIT-IAD: T (UA)
  2. 3/1 IAD-SFO: T to NF with CR1 (UA)
  3. 3/1 SFO-HNL: L to R with CR1 (CO)
  4. 3/2 HNL-SFO: L to NF with CR1 (UA)
  5. 3/3 SFO-ORD: T to NF with CR1
  6. 3/3 ORD-PIT: T to NF with CR1
I pulled up the receipt from past itinerary and found that the last three flights are listed as ON class. So I'm guessing that this is the reason why they haven't posted. The third flight is correctly listed as R class, so I'm not sure why this hasn't posted yet.

Please PM these details to UA Insider. This is probably a global issue.

Hi ElieW and rwsteelers, as you and others have noted, weve had some time discrepancies reported today. The issue is related to daylight savings time this weekend. The correct scheduled time for your flight is the one you see when you view your reservation on united.com. The time you see under Check Flight Status is what is incorrect. Were working with priority to correct this.

Hi SeattleFred, the time issue is the same one noted above. But, agree with you that theres opportunity for us to improve the subject line of the email. Thanks for pointing this out.

Hi hobo13, this ability to request that GPUs be printed to paper for use on LH is not available on united.com, but, our Contact Centers have a procedure for this. If you're still having trouble getting this printed for use on LH, please PM us.

Except according to the website, http://pss.united.com/web/en-US/cont...e/default.aspx, and see attached screen shot there is no fare class requirement listed. What can be done to get this fixed?
Hi colpuck, weve put some fixes in to correct some of the RPU / GPU redemption issues on united.com, but, if this is failing due to a fare class restriction in this market, then we may have another bug. As you referenced, GPUs should not be restricted to HNL. Well get this message to our support desks as well.

Thanks for the link, but despite what they say that: "Eliminated error messages stating that a reservation needs to be reissued". It is patently untrue in my case. My reservation in June still shows: ! A modification has been made to your itinerary. Please contact United Reservations to have your ticket reissued. This reservation was ticketed and confirmed on Sat., Feb. 25, 2012 at 10:51 a.m. Central Time.
Hi Pat89339, if youd like to PM us with your confirmation number, wed be happy to research this further. While most of these have reservations been corrected, there are still a few use cases out there that were working to identify.

Hi gusd, I tried to recreate this, but, the markets I tried worked nicely. If youd like to share the markets and dates you were trying, we can take a closer look at whats happening.

Hi redwoman, yes, as you and some others have noted, some of these PQMs still need to be restored. We are aware and continue to work on this. Thanks for sharing your example.

Similar oddities here - but similarity i see with yours may suggest a CO issue since those 2 segments didn't post - the one segment on UA metal did.
2/29 SEA-EWR V upgraded with CR1 (CO)
3/1 EWR-NRT W upgraded with CR1 (CO)
3/2 NRT to BKK upgraded with CR1 (UA)

my attempts to grab fare classes from the website failed- no account details showing at the moment. Used my receipt to fill in above info where i could.

Similar to you - site said flights had been credited when i entered ticket number in the "missing flight" app

I know you are buried with issues but If I were to stack rank the ones causing the most ill-will and stress this would be #1. Can your team address this issue? If you came back and say "Sorry, 1K's and GS's are now not eligible for gate upgrades but everyone else is" that's fine...I can deal with facts but the "theories" we are seeing and lack of a direct statement is making this much more stressful than it needs to be.
Hi avidflyer, were continuing to look into the examples being reported where complimentary upgrades are not always being processed. Weve made progress here, but, there are still some cases were working to identify and resolve.

One use case were running across lately is that, by design, the system that clears complimentary upgrades stops when it tries to clear the next customer in line, and for one reason or another, cannot complete the upgrade. This most often happens, when the reservation in question needs to be reissued. Normally, this is a rare occurrence. But, as has been noted in the master thread, one side effect of the migration is that we have many more reservations than normal out there with the A modification has been made message.

If youre in a window where seats are available and upgrades should be clearing, please continue to PM us your examples. With these details, well try to get anything unstuck that may be preventing the system from running as well as identify any other trends that we need to fix.

Another question about CPU -- I noticed that when I cleared stand-by as a 1K on 3/4 (before boarding), I was never added to the upgrade list. Is this by design as well?

Thanks.

Do you have status? I called tonight for the first time (as a 1K though) and got through in less than 1 minute.

I'm curious at the wait time for a general member.

Yes, I am a 1K. Didn't try calling tonight but was on hold for more than 30 minutes yesterday and then gave up. I will try again but would still appreciate learning how to send a PM to UA Insider. Thx.
