Yesterday I finally received a refund for my flight that was canceled March 24. I have still not received a refund for a similar flight that was canceled March 16!

I am still awaiting refunds for flights cancelled beginning of April... I got quite good voucher offer for one of the flights.

Another data point: They cancelled my flight to Los Angeles without giving me 14 days notice. No way to get through on the phone to request refund, no way to email them either... so I sent a recorded delivery letter that needs to be signed for and they haven't even bothered accepting the letter.

I am starting to get frustrated with having to take arilines to court to get my refunds

I had no trouble reaching their US phone line - seems like they are not too busy here.

I applied for my voucher, quite efficient and automated process. I guess a lot of resources went in to setting this up, rather than processing refunds.

I resent the implication that SAS should have the funds at this time to refund your ticket.

Indeed nly hoping if it was assured to be the money from Norway...

Initially I just cancelled as it was a flexible Plus ticket. I had not really imagined at that point the whole thing would become this protracted. And catastrophic for the airlines.

The voucher system has (luckily) been operational shortly before pandemic. I think I used it the first time around December.

That's not how it is with SAS, enter the voucher details and it will deduct the fare if the voucher is of a higher value than you are spending. The remaining value can then be used on further bookings.

I had a double take moment this morning... one of my tickets got refunded!

Ticket booked for April 19 on December 15. Flight cancelled April 8, refund request submitted via generic webform on April 9.

Credit showed up yesterday on my CC account with date of July 30.

So one YTH ticket done, two award and one adult ticket to go. All for the same flight

As a point of reference:
- Flight intended for August 4, canceled in early July (I noticed around July 10th)
- Requested cancellation/refund on July 15
- Refund posted on my card today with an effective date of August 5.

So, just over 2 weeks now.

Wow, that's amazing. Thanks for sharing. I'm similar timing (flight intended August 13, flight canceled and refund requested July 6) and haven't received a refund yet, but the error message I get when I go to Manage my Booking has changed from: "We have received your refund Request" to "Something went wrong when processing your request." Not sure if that's good news or what....

FWIW, I requested cancellation by phone. The booking in question disappeared from "Manage my Bookings" page as soon as the flight was canceled (which is how I found out - went online to check, and it was missing)

I (stupidly) booked via Expedia, but now I see that if I had booked with SAS directly I could "easily" get a voucher for the full value. Expedia is suggesting that I will be assessed an €80 rebooking fee if I cancel. What is the truth?

If you booked through a TA, you have to deal with the TA for rebookings and cancellations. They can assess fees in addition to any airline rules.
