ATMs at SFO?
I'm just wondering if there are any ATMs such as Bank of America in the air side of the international terminal at SFO? If there are ATMs, do they accept cash deposits?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have never seen an airside ATM in the US which accepts deposits. According to the BofA ATM locator, the "Sfo Airport Intl Term N Food Court Pre Sec" ATM accepts deposits and credit card payments.
The SFO Airport site lists ATMs in the International Terminal A including a BofA one. It does not itemize the service offered, however, here is a picture of it. It does look like a full service ATM.

I don't think I've ever seen a pre-immigration ATM in the USA, or any other country.

Numerous countries have ATMs pre-immigration, but those are countries that have co-mingled passengers between arriving and departing. If you're referring only to countries like the US with sterile paths to immigration then you're probably right.

Don't worry. Unless you want one at T1B, all terminals have at least 1 BofA ATM airside.
It is due to the fact that the BofA has a historical influence at SFO. Specifically, BofA used to have a branch at T3 landside.
Cash deposit? I don't know.

2. City and County of San Francisoc, SFO's owner, uses BofA for all purposes.
3. As mentioned above, BofA used to have a physical branch inside SFO.

Bank of America was founded in San Francisco as the Bank of Italy in 1904 by Amadeo Giannini. In 1930, it changed its name to Bank of America and eventually grew to be the largest bank in the United States. In 1998, Charlotte based NationsBank bought BofA and adopted the Bank of America name. Since then the bank headquarters have been in North Carolina, not San Francisco.

Chase presumably because of their relationship with United. No idea why Wells was there when others were seemingly blocked out.

WF is sort of a local bank (The bank's principal office is in SD, but its holding company's HQ is in San Francisco). Basically - for years, BofA has been a "either or" situation with WF, until the collaspe of WaMu and the rapid expansion by Chase.

Its a bidding process, you make your bid, you get exclusive ATM access. Last bid was a 5 year contract in 2017.

Also, off topic, but vaguely interesting, according to the lease agreement you can not run an outlet or resale business at SFO, nor have a going out of business sale.
