Anybody having problems logging on to the MCR site? Wonder if it's down in celebration of the holiday.

I was able to log on this morning without a problem.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I appreciate your generosity of insights very much.

Just let me in. Maybe it just didn't like me this morning.

Several of you mention how your MCR pts accrual is at little cost to you. How are you accomplishing this? Are you owners of establishments which serve Coke products? Have connections to such? My husband and I are very diligent about entering our codes prior to discarding caps or cartons, but unless we dumpster dive I have no idea how to score these codes at little or zero cost to us. Please advise.

I made friends with the guy who stocks our vending machines at work. He lets me have the points and often gives me expired food too!

Cashed in for a 500 point PC voucher (still at negative 41,500 PC points :p) today. Guess I need to build my balance back up:

Probably from when Priority Club goofed and deposited points for opening a new PC credit card for everyone who participated in their Crack the Case promo, along with the related bonus points for cracking additional latches even though people didn't earn the points. PC corrected it without warning and pulled the points from everyone's accounts. However, some people redeemed the points on free night reservations, and IIRC, PC allowed those people to keep the reservations, but sent their accounts to a negative balance.

That is all correct! It was quite the brouhaha last August. I got 60,000 points (instead of the 500 I should have gotten) and I cashed out 50,000 right afterward. So now I carry a negative balance. Here's the thread on it for more reading:

If you are looking for a very easy way to potentially add literally hundreds of bonus points to your MCR account per week - remember you are limited to entering a max of 120 points per week but you can add an unlimited amount of bonus points - be aware that MCR fans on SD are going bonkers about the current Arctic Home promotion. In a nutshell (as I understand it) if you make a 70 MCR point donation to benefit polar bears via Arctic Home you can then participate in the Arctic Home game where you can find diamonds that are worth either 35 or 70 MCR points (max of 1 each per day). Some SD'ers have reported that they've earned hundreds of bonus points in the short time that this promo has been going on. I know my explanation of this promo is probably confusing, I'd suggest going to this very long SD thread and skip ahead to start reading posts made approx Jan 10 or so as they explain it much better than I can.

I'm trying it now. The site is slowwwwww and, according to SD, very buggy. I'll report back if anything interesting happens.

Explain it to me once you're able to try it? I'm confused as to why I would want to donate 70 MCR points in order to earn either 35 or 70 MCR points.

I read through the SD thread and have now picked up 105 points (35 per day). They suggested that you use Google chrome. I do not have other programs open when loading. That seems to make the site run faster.

Thanks to yanxfann for posting - otherwise, I would have ignored this promo!

Seems that the diamonds only come at night or in the morning. I just signed up and there is nothing waiting for me.

Because your one-time 70 MCR point donation can earn you 35 and/or 70 bonus MCR points every single day.

When you log in - if there is a pop up that tells you about diamonds, then there is a diamond to find. When you get the pop up, you need to look around and if you do not see one, move forward a little bit, look around and you should be able to find it.

Someone was suggesting that they reset at midnight & at 7:00 pm, I have received them in the morning, but am planning on looking after 7 tonight to see if there is another diamond.

That's what was missing from the initial post. :)
