Yes, but you still had to take the time to list the items on eBay, or sell them to Amazon, or list them on StubHub or wherever. Not everyone wants to take the time to do that.
Speaking of StubHub - I use them extensively, I definitely have a love/hate relationship with them. I hate them because of their fees, they take a total of 25% in commissions - 15% from the seller and another 10% from the buyer - on all sales (keep in mind they have no inventory of their own, talk about a killer business model!). I love them because they make it so easy (once you've done it a few times you can easily list an item in under two minutes) and because - like it or not - that's where the buyers are. |

I hope they'd bring DL or AA miles for redemption. I'd evaluate my points input at roughly 90%-95% free, so the profit for me is significant.
Actually, I'd prefer AA since their miles still expire and Delta's don't. We all have points with both. Sheila |
The 2000 PCR for 630MCR are now currently out of stock....

That was my favorite. We topped off the DL accounts for the whole family to take a trip. Nothing would make me happier than miles on either airline.

I think you are missing the point. For example, he wasn't GOING to Six Flags, he was SELLING those tickets and netting the value.

The first firesale was May 25, 2011 for reduced-price 500 point PC codes. The second and final blowout was July 20, 2011 (not June as I originally recalled), offering 2,000 point PC codes for 250 MCR points, no limit on number of redemptions.
Then, I assume, out of the blue, it was a Wednesday deal in July, never to be heard from again, until a couple of days ago? |
Darn!

Wow, so that second blowout was kind of a sneaky one for as I recall, everyone had kind of assumed that P/C had wound itself down as it failed to appear as a reward after that first fire sale.

I was really excited about the 2k PC points last time it came out. I missed it today but given the upcoming devaluation (by 40%) of PC points, I'm not sure I would have done it anyway.
