I'm steadily finding one 35-point diamond a day, never a 70-pointer, never 2, although I've looked. But still my pace is 50x faster than before, and soon I'll have enough for the out-of stock 2000 PC points. Yay?

I've recouped the 70 points/donation, plus additional points, so I'm happy even if I only ever find 35 point diamonds once a day. :D

Maybe that's why we're not seeing an overwhelming number of people posting here about earning the points. Really, for a promotion that promises around 250 free points per week, you would think this thread would be knee-deep in arctichome.com posts by a lot of different people.

Excellent point. I'm also now down to only one diamond per day. Oh well. Better than a hole in the head. Actually, there's a lot of things that are better than a hole in the head. But that's a list for another time.

I believe that CVS is running a 12-pack promo this week, so it's a good time to stock up. 4/$10, in addition to the "Buy $30 worth of items and get a $10 gift card." There is a limit on Coke products (four), but there may be other products you want or a way to get around it by making separate trips.

Mike

Did anyone find a way around this limit last week? CVS has the same deal this week (4/$10, although advertised as 2/$5, limit of 4), but I'd like to buy enough to qualify for the $10 gift card. I really don't need to stock up on anything else, so I was curious as to if anyone else had tried multiple transactions, and if so, if it worked.

Thanks!

I was able to do multiple transactions last week at 2 CVS locations near me. When checking out I asked if I could do separate transactions and they didnt mind at all. It seems like everyone buying the 4/$10 deal was doing it that way.

Also, when you spend $10 x 3 the $10 coupon prints on your third receipt. If you get them to scan your CVS card before using the $10 coupon it counts toward your next $10 coupon (visible on the bottom of the receipt). So spending $20 more will get you a second $10 coupon. So it is really spend $50 get $20 free.

So it's not a limit of 1 Coke deal/card? Thanks! I'm guessing I can use my $10 cash card to buy a Coke deal for the cost of tax, and then that counts for my next $10, based on what you said. :D

Yes, that is correct. Here in Georgia the tax on (4) 12 packs is only 20 cents for some reason. There is not a limit on the number of coke deals per card, you can do as many as you like. The only limit is you can only get (5) $10 coupons per week per CVS card.

CVS

Thanks for the tip -- I thought I had to buy all $30 in one transaction. Just bought 4 12-packs today (before I saw this). Will go back tomorrow or later in the week and do a 2-transaction run (buy 4; load in car; go back and buy 4 more).

Don't know if I'll use the $10 on another 4 12-packs. It's a good deal, but I live alone, drink too much soda as is and do not really need the temptation of 16 12-packs staring me in the face!

FWIW, here in Cali, we get hit with 60 cents per 12-pack for a recycling "deposit" on the cans (.05 each) PLUS sales tax.

The same in NYC

CVS

Actually, there is a limit of 5 Coke deals per card.

Second, you are limited to at most 4 12 - packs per shopping trip/transaction.

Third, you are limited to at most 8 2L bottles per shopping trip/transaction.

However, as noted above, a transaction is a shopping trip whereby you pay at the cash register. You can do multiples of this act per day -- should you wish -- until you have reached your goal. You are just limited to the maximum number of items - as listed above - in any one shopping trip/transaction.

Finally, although you are limited to 4 12 packs and 8 2 L bottles per shopping trip/transaction, you certainly can purchase the maximum of each of these items (4 and 8, respectively) in any one shopping trip/transaction, should you wish.

I was told last week that there was a limit of 1/card, but now that I know that's incorrect, I'll stop by CVS at least once the rest of each day this week. :D

In PA, we just pay 6% sales tax, no charge for a deposit. This means that we can then save the cans and sell them to a scrap dealer. :D

So, I'm limited to 5 12-pack deals? Grr... That means that I'd end up $10 short of a second card. :(

I got the diamond last night, but in 4 logins and multiple clicks on the diamond during each login, I never got the points. Then this morning it happened instantly on the first try. Confusing and frustrating. 35 points again.

I had that happen to me last night as well.

Wednesday special: An 1886 Distressed Coca-Cola Cap, 285 points that I wouldn't spend instead of the 475 points that I wouldn't spend. This offer distresses me.

*groan* at both the special and your pun.
