Give up? Not a chance! This is much too simple a way to rack up MCR points at virtually no cost.

I realize the site is not the most user-friendly, but it shouldn't require hours of effort just to get up and running and earning points. Thirty minutes, maybe. Care to share what you've done so far, and the process you're using to "search" for diamonds? Maybe the folks on this board can be of help.

A couple of things right off the bat, all covered in previous posts in this thread:
1. After you login, do you see a small pop-up window with a red diamond and the text "Earn Rewards for Exploring"? If you don't see that, then you're not going to find any diamonds. Making a donation should make that pop-up window appear after login. Did you make a donation to WWF?
2. To choose your plot, click on "donate", then at the bottom of the popup window you'll see "Already Donated? Click here to select your virtual Parcel." Have you done that?

I finally had to take over both my Mother's and my sister's arctic home activity. My sister has an old computer and the flash would not work. My Mother has a new computer with lots of memory, fast processor and the sight crashes her computer. In order to make it work on my computer, I restart the computer and turn off anything that loads automatically. I pull up arctic home in Google Chrome. I login and find the diamond on each of the accounts and then close Chrome and go back to Firefox.

I did give up on trying to find a 70 point diamond, the 35 points per day is enough for me.

I've never had problems with the site loading until this morning when it freezes on loading polar bear tracks. Anyone else?

Happens occasionally. I usually just close the window and reopen arctichome.com.

That's what I usually do, but it ain't working today for me.

I had no problem early this morning. I just now gave it a try to see if your problem showed up for me. Other than perhaps taking about 10 seconds longer than normal (whatever "normal" is with this game), I had no difficulties with the game loading or with being able to login.

My old standby, which may or may not be based in any kind IT reality, is to clear the cache and delete any arctichome cookies, then try loading the site again. It may not help, but it sure can't hurt.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried one last time before I went through that process and it finally worked. At least I'll know what to try if I have problems again.

Just picked up my first 70 point diamond.

Only 2x35 for me on two accounts.

I got a 70 for myself at exactly 6 PM but when I clicked on my husband's diamond I got a pop-up box that said sorry this diamond has been redeemed by another explorer or something to that effect. :mad::confused::mad:

I was able to get 70 points on 3 of the 4 accounts that I do this for. The one that could not get the 70 pointer is on the later schedule so I could only get the daily 35 pointer for it after 7:00PM. This is the first time I have been able to get the 70 pointers! I think the key is to log in right after 7:00 PM

I had picked up my 35 point diamond earlier today, so I was only eligible to get a 70.

Ugh. Took a break from the Superbowl to log in at 7:30 pm. Saw a diamond... I just know it was a 70 pointer. But when it clicked on it, it just kept loading and loading.

Now the site isn't loading in. Frustrating!

Update: Even more frustrating is that I logged back in at 8:00... that big diamond is still sitting there! But it just keeps loading....

Got 70 pointers tonight for the first four accounts that we tried starting at 7pm sharp with the last successful one happening approx 709 pm, after that we still got diamonds to show but couldn't get them to load.

I'm convinced my theory in post #5271 that there's a very short window of opportunity starting at 7pm sharp is correct, once they're gone they're gone and after that you're wasting your time.

Did you get a 35 this morning? If so, the diamond that keeps loading is another 35, and you can't get two in a day.
