Did you redeem for the 2000 PCR points about a month ago as well? Im curious if you redeemed for the early January 2000 PCR points if you will still be able to redeem for these and be able to deposit them. Has anyone been able to do that?

No. Without this polar bear thing, I would not have garnered enough points for the 2000 PC award. I've only gotten to the 500-point award three times since I started with the program. I don't search for caps or anything -- I save the cap when I buy a bottle of Coke, but I drink more Dr. Pepper.

"Limit one redemption per member per calendar year." That's one each of the 500-point and 2,000 point awards. And yes, they do mean it. If you try to redeem for a second award of the same value, they will not allow you to do it. The only exception would be when and if they have a closeout sale on remaining awards later in the year.

I was just able to redeem for 2,000 PCR points, thanks to the polar bear game. I was at 600 points as of yesterday, so first thing this morning, I snagged a diamond, and then 2,000 PCR points.

I got it a few days ago as well, too bad i still haven't received them.......they are slow as molasses with everything.

Wow, those 2000 PCR didn't last long.

Even under normal circumstances, they don't last very long. But right now there are probably a lot of accounts with balances that have been beefed up thanks to the arctic home promotion. It takes less than 3 weeks with Da Bears to reach 630. All those points looking for somewhere to go. So it's not very surprising that this batch was cleaned out in about 48 hours.

I've also been using recyclebank.com to collect MCR points, which is a relatively new addition. 1,000 RB points=250 MCR points. Much slower going, but it's nice to get the extra points with no real work. I write about RB opportunities pretty frequently.

Yep! Been doing both bears and RB and that's how I was able to grab one of those 2000 PCR bundles ^
