Sneaky, those e-milers... :) (Unless of course you are really getting different e-mails.) Meanwhile, I'm in a much better mood about e-miles because Mrs FTF, who was a Delta redeemer, has travel options again. ^ FTF |
They send me the same nondescript email every time, and every time I click on the button to log in, it brings me to the home page where I have no earning opportunities available.
Ironically, right after I made that post, the emails actually led to earning opportunities again. I bet someone from E-Miles is reading this thread. |
I just need one click of 5 miles and then im sending 500 to UA and im done with this

"I bet someone from E-Miles is reading this thread." I doubt it .... I got a message yesterday but, as usual, when I went to the e-miles site, I had no earning opportunities .... |

Anyone know if the e-mils PC redemptions count toward status like the e-rewards ones seem to do?

Thanks for posting! I just checked my account and I have lots of new options.

Darn it! My e-miles account is via UA, so it still offers me only UA miles!
It would be nice to have choices as the ex-DL members do! |
My e-miles account is for Priority Club only. Is it possible to convert to the account that has multiple transfer partners? I wish there was a wiki/FAQ on the first page.

you could open a new account under a new email address, but you can't convert the points you have.

Final transfer? They limit you on the amount of times you can transfer points? It takes me forever to get anywhere with them.
|
There's no limit, but people have been getting fed up with them and are quitting after claiming their reward.
Honestly, I'm only sticking around because my typical visits to e-miles lasts about 2 minutes. Click a few buttons for 5 miles. It's two minutes that I would generally be using while checking email so it doesn't require much effort. |

They don't limit you .... I'm limiting myself .... as soon as I get enough points for one more 500 mile transfer, I'll do that transfer then, after it posts, cancel my e-Miles account! |

I received an invite to Consumersay panel through e-miles (500 e-miles offered to sign up). Does anyone know or have opinions on this organization?

I have been accumulating points as expected. The points are worth a lot more if you redeem through MySurvey.com, because they share the same parent (Lightspeed). If you do redeem through MySurvey, 100 points (which is the base for a credit card for a month) is worth 100 MySurvey points, which is basically $1. But I haven't tried to redeem yet so I don't know if it is easy or a PITA. I have a MySurvey account, so I entered a bunch of cards to build a worthwhile point balance. If you don't have a MySurvey account, you have to redeem for gift cards, or so it was when I signed up, and it's worth a lot less. In that case you'd be a lot less motivated and might just enter one token card to get the e-miles. For me, a 500 e-mile offer with no expense is a pretty good deal even if you don't care about CS points down the road. But you do have to enter a credit card (and maybe a bank account, I forget), and you will have to wait a while for the points. No worse than say signing up for CreditKarma or Mint or the like. FTF |
Thanks for your response and advice. I would be uncomfortable giving out my bank information, so it looks like I'll give this one a pass.

Any data points on how long it takes to transfer to UA?

my 4/30 move of 500 emiles to UA posted as such:
04/30/2013 EMILES ACTIVATION BONUS 500 I didn't even look til just now when you asked. Now that I have moved all to UA, and DL changed to Amazon and I did that, and I got another 1k for my wife's Hilton, I am seriously debating just not doing emiles anymore. It takes too long. The Hilton one was like the only one that wasn't über slow as compared to the others. |

I need a few more points, a redemption, and then I'll be done with e-miles. |
Has anyone noticed that the 5 point click offers dry up once you get to around 440-450 points? My husband and I are trying to hit the 500 threshold on both accounts, then I think we are going to cancel our accounts as it is too slow.

Special Offer: 500 United Airlines miles for joining e-miles by by June 30, 2013.
|
A complete waste of time now. At least I got 500 RR points out of it.

U can make a charitable donation for an instant 100 points. Worthwhile only if it's late in the month & U would donate to that charity anyway. Otherwise the donation is more than the whole 500 points is worth!
|
Decided to try the Priority Club redemption a few days ago, instead of going the Amazon route. Hopefully all goes smoothly ... tls
|
Just hit 500 and transferred to IHG. Will cancel once points show up in my IHG account.

Has anyone else noticed a massive decrease in the number of new offers? I think I've had one offer this entire month!

Nope. I still get an average of 5 or 6 per week.

My offers have dwindle. I transferred 500 2 months ago, and have been around 120 or so.
