Mypoints Question
Hi All,
I tried to access my Mypoints account today, but the site told me my account had been disable. I emailed Mypoints Member Care and I am still waiting for a response. I accessed my account yesterday and I received the Bonus Emails this morning.
Any ideas as to why my account has been disabled? Has this happened to any one else?
Thanks for the responses.

That happened to me once. I emailed custoemr service, and within a few days my account was back to normal.
They flag accounts that have anything they consider "suspicious", like using links to point offers that were not meant for you, etc.
Give it a coupla days, then email them again.

What is "suspicious"? When a monk orders at Victoria's Secrets - is this "suspicious" or what?

My account was also suspended & I hadn't clicked on anyone elses email offers after reading about it here.
My crime? My husband & I both have an account. We both redeemed on the same day to the same address......
I called them (emailing is useless), explained the situation that most married people live together & might also have separate mypoints accounts, and they reinstated us.
I've just about given up on shopping through their portal. I have to fight for the points 50% of the time.
Made a lot of purchases in Dec - half didn't post until I contacted them in Jan. They posted them - but as Jan points. Guess what? They probably won't count toward the promotion.
So, I give up. Goldpoint for me.

I have had the same experience with the Holiday promotion. One did not post in the correct period (almost $400 purchase). Most did not post at all. I doubt I will see the "bonus" points when I can't even seem to get them to respond to my requests (by email and by fax) for the regular points.
I don't understand why they have such bad customer service? What's the point of running a website that awards points if they discourage people by not rewarding the points or providing a mechanism to get them when they don't?
I miss Clickrewards. At least they provided excellent customer support to assist you when you had a problem with a point posting.
Oh well....

I was with Mypoints back when it was called BonusMail. I have had both good and bad service over the years, but the past months have been HORRIBLE.
I had to go to the BBB to get something that was due to me (I did get it at last & and now I am having problems AGAIN with points, etc.). Here are the following facts:
MyPoints
100 California Street, Suite 1200
San Francisco, Ca 94111
and
MyPoints.com, Inc.
1375 East Woodfield Rd. , Suite 300
Schaumburg, Illinois 60173
Phone (847) 969-8150
FAX (847) 969-8164
Peter Schoonyoung is the Senior Manager
There is another fax number on my page and I don't know if it is for the BBB or Mypoints. However, if you are sending copies to all parties anyway, here it is:
415 676 2054.
Mypoints Customer Service (No human that can help. You get passed to voice mail) is
1 888 262 4528
Even with the above information, I don't get answers, but you need this info to file a complaint.

I guess Ive just been lucky. Ive had very good response and support from MyPoints. No, everything hasnt posted as it should and yes, Ive sometimes had to contact their Customer Care department, but everything has been resolved via email. Usually I need to send them the email confirmation for purchases, but this too Ive sent over email. So, perhaps Ive just been lucky or maybe others who have had positive experiences are just not saying.

Just another question....
My dad's Mypoints account has enough points for a transfer to Hilton, and I need Hilton points more than he does. Is it possible to transfer his points into my account or will it reject since the Mypoints account is in his name, and the Hilton is in mine? Anyone had experience with this?

I, too, was nailed once because my wife and I both redeemed points within a day or two of each other. After literally weeks of calling (I was able to get an extension of a person who cared), we finally had all the points released. Their advice: don't redeem within a week of each other if you have the same address. No problems since (over a year). Resolution by email was hopeless - empty promises based on "canned"
responses.

My hubby and I had both of our accounts disabled. We had to fax both of our Drivers Liscense to Member Care. Within two days, both of our accounts were up and running again.
So weird of them doing that, because I have been with MyPoints for a very long, long time.
