Our LHR departure for June 17 is still showing T5 in the app.

Just seen on indeed.com DO&CO who run Qatar’s lounge at Heathrow advertising for staff for the Lounge, so hopefully that’s a promising sign

Was the T4 QR lounge open for those on QR redemption bookings previously?

Business redemption bookings get full lounge access.

What lounge in T4 will accept OWS pax flying QR Y? As I understand, QR lounge accepts J/F pax only, MH lounge won't reopen, and Plaza Premium is also closed? The flight will be in November 2022, I believe by that time QR will move to T4...

Our QR flight on June 17 is now showing as T4. Changed from T5 in the app just a few days ago. Given that Emerald are currently being given access to AM as other lounges are closed in Doha I expect OW will be allowed in.

I wouldn't be so sure with QR until it has been confirmed from experience, the outstation lounges used to operate on different rules pre-COVID.

I've got a QR flight on 3rd July, in Y (I'm OWS), and I'm in a similar predicament. I've contacted PlazaPremium who've rattled off the party line of 'closed, but continually monitoring the situation' - contacted QR via livechat and got referred to the company lounge policy page saying business/first only. So....I'll be keeping an eye on this thread throughout June to see if OneWorld customers will be serviced by ANY lounge in T4.

QR have expanded their lounge in T4 during its closure, so I would expect the new lower floor to accommodate status passengers in Y, and the existing gate level floor to continue to accommodate F / J passengers.

Hi All. I am guessing no-one will be any further forward with this but....

I have a QR flight to Doha at 9am on Tues 14th June from LHR. From the above it seems that this will be QR's first day back in T4 (so I guess expect some chaos.....)

I am BA silver / Oneworld Sapphire, but am travelling in economy on this flight. I was wondering if:
- Any QR lounge will be open at T4
- If so, will I have access
- if not, any other alternatives

If anyone has any info, it would be most gratefully received.

I have called QR a couple of times, but the phone operatives are useless. They do not even know if there is a QR lounge at T4. Websites (oneworld, QR, Heathrow) are not particularly informative either.

Thanks

If you read up a few posts you'll see that it is yet unconfirmed what the arrangements will be. But please come back and let us know what you find next week!

Based on the fact that QR is the only airline moving this day with 5 flights I can’t imagine any lounge opening other than the QR.

I think it’s about 10 days in till there’s a decent number of airlines moving over so by that point I expect some shops, restaurants and third party lounges to be reopening.

I guess if you prepare for nothing and then anything that is open is a bonus.
