Out of interest how better have people faired at checkin compared go online offer? Also how can I tell if the 777 from lhr has the Q suite?

You can't for certain, mainly because there is no guarantee of what airframe you will get on any specific flight, Qatar have an art for swapping airframes. However, out of all their routes, as a premium and important route for the airline LHR is going to be prioritised to get QSuites wherever possible. Even if you do get swapped to another widebody aircraft, they all have good interiors in J.

I had a offer for my flights AMS-DOH-DXB going 24 march and flying back april 4 booked in T class going out and O class coming back, first they wanted 299 Euros for AMS-DOH and 249 for DOH-DXB i waited a little bit and now i got AMS-DOH for 229 euros which is not bad i think.I am not gonna bother with the DOH-DXB sector way to expensive for a 1 hour flight. I also already have an offer for the return DOH-AMS at 354 euros, i just gonna wait and see if it goes down like before.

Got an offer for BEG-DOH-MLE, about a week in advance. Interestingly, the second leg is almost twice as expensive as the first (€144 vs €330 per pax) even though the flight time is roughly the same. Decided to take them up on BEG-DOH and skip DOH-MLE.

IST/SAW-DOH is much shorter and I have got nothing under €400 for that route.
DOH-MLE for €330 is also a decent deal when the demand for Malé is really high.
