I got another upgrade offer for the 2nd segment of my flight from Doha to Dar es Salaam, amount for upgrade is 341EUR.
I'm considering this offer now since its almost 6 hours flight, on A319, which from what I can see has two rows of lie flat business class seats.
I have couple questions, should I wait and maybe try to upgrade at HIA or the chances are not to get this offer or I might get no offer at all? Also, will I get qpoints/qmiles based on the business class or the economy class ticket?

You get qpoints/qmiles based based on the original fare (economy) - it would be mentioned in the UG offer that you received.

I moved ahead yesterday and booked the upgrade, currently in Doha, and I'll fly on the 2nd segment from DOH to DAR in business class tomorrow.
Today I tried to clear the border control in the business class section border control but the people at the welcome desk told me that I'm not eligible to pass through that border control, since my business class ticket was upgraded from economy, oh well.
Lets see tomorrow if there will be any difference in the service between normal and upgraded BC passengers :-) just kidding...
Crazy this evening in Doha because of the Asian cup championship, everyone is celebrating. I traveled from HIA to Marriott Marquis City center for 2 1/2 hours...

I'm being offered an upgrade BEG-DOH (six days ahead of flight) on the A321 for 397 EUR.
