Any word on progress on the new lounge at BKK or is it the usual QR "why provide something this year when you can delay by at least 2 years" combined with AoT incompetence to produce a perfect storm of lounge construction?

BobBHX to use what is a standard quote on the QR forum 'No one knows!'
Some months ago there was a report on the http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qatar...ngkok-bkk.html thread, I think, that there was nothing happening to the lounge site.
Maybe we should open a book on which comes first:
The Bangkok lounge
The North node at DOH or even
The third DOH airport!

lento you can find a decription of the lounge on https://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-...eaccess/DAR/-1.
There appear to be no reports from members so perhaps we will get some now with your request.

And I wasn't asking when it would open - to which you have given the correct and, sadly, inevitable response. I asked if anyone had any updates.

MIA
Just got a notice that our MIA-DOH departure time is moved up to 7:20pm versus 8:20pm so that most likely means we would have dinner at the lounge.
Anybody knows whether QR is back to use Admiral Club or the Premium lounge? QR website lists only Admiral Club.
I remember using Admiral Club on one trip (extremely crowded place for the evening departure) and the most recent trip it is the Premium lounge at Concourse E. A much quieter place with better quality foods and alcohol is self-served.

Happy if you look at https://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-...eaccess/mia/-1 you will see that you have access to all OW lounges except Premium Lounge.
The QR website only shows the lounge that QR have a contract with whereas as a OW membwr you have access to the lounges as described on the above link.

john1987 to see the different lounges at LHR you need to look at https://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-...eaccess/lhr/-1. Please read the two sets of access rules for each lounge since they vary from lounge to lounge.
Note that The QR lounge is for F and J departing passengers ONLY. No PC gold or Platinum, No OWS or OWE and no guests!

However, if you are flying in J or are a Sapphire or Emerald, you should be able to get access to the Premium Lounge.

Happy -- unclear about your status or class you are flying. The Premium Lounge is definitely better than the Admirals Club.
However, if you are flying in J or are a Sapphire or Emerald, you should be able to get access to the Premium Lounge. IIRC the lounge put out some Middle East foods such as humus and such, apparently to cater for QR customers.

In J. I think we should be able to use the Premium Lounge just like in January.

MM00LL2 since there is no dedicated LHR lounge thread on this forum there can be no dedicated Wiki. The LHR lounge is covered in this thread.
The only available reference to the LHR lounge is https://www.qatarairways.com/en-dk/l...-heathrow.html.
