Doesn't Bangladesh have a 45 minute offset?

....Judges are still not back - must have meant Brisbane time. Or in the new spirit of Qantas, Singapore time?

Or is it a 15 minutes offset? Yes there are such countries.

They say that when a jury takes a long time to deliberate that it will go well for the accused. So who is the accused party in this case?

Still waiting, Fair Work Judges yet to deliver their decision to press gallery.

It seems that the gallery has been prevented from entering the court while the verdict is delivered.

I think there must be some disunity in the reasoning perhaps.

I'm not privy to other than what I've read but that said, some protection is never a bad thing when so many jobs may be at stake. I think SQ and CX are somewhat protected. You may gain a UAE carrier base but at what cost to AC? Priorities....an Eagle or Maple leaf on yr national carriers tail

Right. So the decision is to either change the status quo or not, and if change, to either terminate the disruption or suspend. QF has said unless the ruling is terminate the airline is grounded. So I predict no relief today.

Cancel last, the press pack is in the hearing. The Justices chairs were just checked, but the delay relates to written decisions being delivered.

Who cares????

AC is a private company, and as with any private business, should fend for themselves.

The days of a glorified "national carrier" financed by the government are long gone, at least up here.

Fair Work Australia ruling

The Justices of the Fair Work Australia tribunal have delivered their verdict, and they have ruled that the industrial action is TERMINATED effective NOW.

QF did state via Twitter that there will be no flights until at least Monday afternoon, and this decision means that this is likely to stay current.

The court is issuing a written decision, as the Justices believe the dispute is likely to be escalated through higher court.

More information soon.

bill shorten claiming this was what the govt wanted all along.

why did they not use the powers to issue the order themselves and stop the shutdown alltogether.
