Did you get it on JL codes, or were you able to get it on like AA codes? JL I fares only earn 70% to Alaska, while AA codes on the same flights would earn 150%. Ive tried searching, but only been able to get them on JL if i used amex IAP.

Nope, I've only seen it on IAP on JL tickets, not AA. Planning to credit this flight to Finnair Plus, where the earn difference is only 125% (JL) vs. 150 % (AA), so it works out for me in this case.

Having a little trouble here trying to change a JFK-CGK-JFK return. Already flew the JFK-CGK portion in August. Booked through AMEX IAP. Got a competent agent on the phone, repriced the return +2 weeks in I class, but it came with a $2k fare difference. I'm not really great parsing the fare rules, but wouldn't this type of change use the historical fares ("VOLUNTARY CHANGES" section of the below rules)

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I think you're out of luck. Fare will be repriced and it has since went up. Even if the voluntary changes section applies, as you referenced, your situation does not appear to meet all of the criteria.
