If you don't have a BP you can get it at the gate. If you need it for other purposes, like lounge entry, try to find another gate with Condor flight, or a transfer kiosk.

Exact have done that recently and you have to find a "willing" gate agent
its a PITA

How much of a PITA (Pain In The Abdomen) is Condor when it comes to carry on luggage.

I fly business PHX to FRA anc back with one roll-on and a laptop bagpack. No airline ever measured my carry on (I use the Away Bigger Carry on) or try to see how much it weights.

My son (plus wife & daughter) just returned- flights in business class. DE2063 LAS-FRA 18 June & DE2096 FRA-SFO 18 July.
Comment- Never book me on Condor again. Uncomfortable seats and plane hot as hell. Desk people (FRA) extremely rude when
we asked about 3+ hour delay and missing our AS connection -being protected on UA as our AS was last flight of their to LAS
for night since we would arrive 615pm and flight leaves 720pm and min connect time in SFO is 2 hours DE-AS.

I called AS about the connection who told me they would not do anything and it was up to DE. I called DE and was told
"if they miss the AS flight" to return from T-2 to Intl Term - and the Condor desk would handle. Luckily they made it by 10 minutes
and will never know about Cust Service from check in people.

Unfortunately, I booked 1 Condor flight for myself in September (LAS-FRA)- just something to not look forward to having.

Condor seems to be terrible iro connecting flights. I just looked at my PHX-FRA route, but they are rarely on time so I only considered them as a point-to-pont solution and planning my travel FRA-Final Destination via car (while there is a LH flight I would miss it at a 330m + delay and who needs the stress).

Condor has never cared about my rollaboard+backpack when flying in J. My first “weighing” experience was with Swiss up at SFO where a gate agent walked around the gate area with a hand scale and weight people’s rollaboards. It was battery operated and apparently ran out of juice a few passengers before getting to us. Our rollaboard was fairly heavy and probably exceeded the weight limit even though we were in J.

Note that if you fly on one of their old 767s, the overhead bins are those old tiny ones that barely hold one modern rollaboard and a few smaller items.

yes I am in one of these old birds (next week - a few weeks later the route will use 330). Hope one larger carry on and a small backpack or messenger will fit no problems

It will, just would make sure not to be the last person boarding the plane.

Does Condor participate in TSA Precheck? My BP is missing the symbol (AS award all API entered through AS and KTN was one of them).

From my own research, I think they do, but you have to have the agent checking you in add your KTN. Have not flown them personally, so can't say for sure though. My kids will be flying Condor in a few weeks so would also appreciate any real-world experiences on this issue.

Only way to add the KTN is at the physical check in counter

Although we support TSA Pre for US departure airports, you are not able to enter your Known Traveller Number into your Condor booking in advance. Please provide your KTN during the Online Check-in or when you check-in at the airport.

I added the KTN to the reward booking on the AS system - while it shows as added somehow the info doesn’t seem to trickle down to DE.
Wasn’t expecting it to work but one never knows without trying.

Let’s see if they let me enter my green card info during check in for the flight back to the US …. My guess 99% No

Does Condor have a special cash upgrade offer from JFK to FRA? Any idea how much it cost?

Can I ask you about the check in experience at FRA? I was watching a YouTube trip report and the person wasted time by going to the biz check in counter at Condor. Apparently there's another area for USA flights and everyone checks in the same way, no business class line. Was this true for you? Thanks.
