Sorry if this has been asked before, but how do you buy an RTW with the Slovenia prices? I know the usual system from CMB say. Is there a workaround the fact that you have to start from Slovenia but no one-world carrier starts there? If there isn't then why are the prices quoted? Thanks.

Yes, cryptic, isn't it?

IIRC Malev flies there. Perhaps someone at OW knows something that they're not (yet) sharing?

I fear it's the opposite: the Slovenia prices are a vestige from the days of yore when the current crop of OW members did fly there, and someone forgot to remove the prices from the system. By the same token, I'm also hoping that the same someone will prove equally forgetful in updating the prices once Malev joins.

What is the current AONE fare ex-North America (is Canada cheaper than the US) vs. ex-LHR?

The fares are stated in the star files, given in the first few messages of this thread. They're several weeks old, but no one has volunteered anything different re the places you asked about. There's also a spreadsheet that nicely listes everything with a lot of sort macros - you'll see it mentioned near the beginning also, or can search for "spreadsheet" - it's not likely to be an overburdened search term, so you'll find it immediately. [Oops, sorry, it's the thread called OWE star file update ..."]

Well, based on that spreadsheet it looks as if North America in First is pricing at $7,600, while the UK is $9,600.

I am looking for an itinerary that goes BOS-HKG-LHR-BOS.

The only negative is that the CX RTW desk is saying I need a 10 day minimum stay? Is that new? Otherwise $7,600 seems like a great first class fare.

I must be braindead...I can't see that, but I expected the fare to be around $10K.

What do you show for the ex-HKG and TPE fares, and why can't I find these fares? I went to the OW tab and looked under First - 3?

There has always been a 10 day minimum stay for OWE fares from most points of origin. A conspicuous exception to this rule is that Australia/NZ has no minimum stay; maybe a few other countries. This rule hasn't changed in the last 5 years. You could get around this rule by flying LHR-MEX/BGI/NAS/BDA etc. (I think Canada does not work as it is considered to be one country with US for OWE purposes). Then book the leg back to the US after the 10 day stay.

I probably need to be back in the US w/i 10 days. My last trip origniated out of Europe...I didn;t think I sayed out for 10 days, but maybe I did. I think HKG has no minimum stay, so I could go one way to HKG for about $3200, and then buy a ticket ex-HKG for $8100...that makes $11,300 all in.

Ironically, I can't access my spreadsheet right now (I'm on an Excel-less computer), so I can't help on the fares. I know they're there for both Taiwan and Hong Kong, but there's a lot of data in the table so it's easy to overlook.

There is no minimum stay requirement if you originate in HKG, Japan or SWP.

Download and use Open Office. It is free and offers almost all of the same functionality. It is also cross platform.

Try BOS-HKG-LHR-BOS-DFW-BOS. The flights to DFW (or where ever) can be anytime in the 12 months after the first flight. You have 6 flights and 2 stop overs available in North America on a XONE3 ticket

I don't think that'll work. If you originate in the US, the last international segment needs to start at least ten days after the first, so making the difference with domestic flights is not a valid way out.

What about BOS-JFK-HKG-LHR-BOS-AUA-BOS? (Or BGI or anywhere in Mexico or...)
