So, RC, you have gotten good feedback.

Where do you go from here?

Will you be sharing with NW management the fact that most of us truly appreciate (and expect) pre-departure drink service?

Thumbs down No Bevs

DEC 28 NW 218 PDX-MSP.

753 boarding at door two. Only 10 of 22 FC seats were occupied so the "crowded Aisle" excuse does not apply here. The FC FA grudgingly took coats, but refused to do provide drinks, even though she and the other FA's were enjoying coffee and juice in the galley. Additionally, pushback was delayed for an hour due to a mechanical issue and still no pre-departure drinks offered. This was an 8:45am departure and I am sure many of the FC passengers would have loved a cup of coffee, Bloody Mary or other eye opener.

FYI, this was a New York based flight crew and the service in flight was less then enthusiastic. I will be writing to TTU and naming names

12/27 NW 98 HNL-MSP is hoped to happen 12/28, and I will certainly post what we get on the "third time's the charm" flight, once I get where I'm going!
12/27 NW 98 HNL-MSP for real (third time) had full service pre-departure.
12/29 NW 166 MSP-PHL had no service pre-departure. (Even with a late push, and with the FAs having plenty of time to chat pre-departure.) But the plane was catered kinda late, so maybe that affected it. We did have breakfast in-air, although they ran out of cereal before they got to me. I bought a trail mix, explaining to the FA in F that I used to fly in the back a lot, and missed the trail mix.

Yesterday, Jan 2. Flight 232 DTW-DCA. No pre-depature beverage service, despite the fact that we sat on the ground 20 minutes past schedule loading luggage.

12/22 MCO-MKE, last flight out. No preflight bev served. FA said it was because we were in a hurry to get out as flight was a bit delayed due to incoming aircraft. We were delayed additionally while waiting for pax. We departed from the gate approximately 25 minutes after she said that. I was a little annoyed as there were only 5 in FC and the FA was chatting with the other staff the whole time.
