It should be soon then.

Alle personer på 18 år og derover modtager en invitation til 3. stik, inden der er gået 6 måneder siden 2. stik.

Meanwhile, what do you think of this year's julebryg?

Seems that Denmark is opening up for anyone vaccinating people. I wonder if this is wise. It's of course good if more people can be vaccinated but aren't there risks if the one doing the vaccination doesn't know anything about vaccinating people?

Behov for vaccinationshjælp

I got my shots from a pharmacist who is neither a nurse nor a doctor. [I could have had opportunities to even get vaccinated by my own relatives who are doctors, but I saw no need to go down that road.] Not sure how the pharmacist got trained to deliver vaccination shots, but I would be more concerned about the measuring and mixing ability and diligence of the involved personnel than in if they can jab and use the syringes properly. I wouldn't be surprised if even a chimpanzee could be trained to jab a given syringe properly into my upper arm, but I would have other concerns about a chimp being on the loose.

Pharmacists are more likely to be specialists at measuring and mixing than the average doctor.

There are tons of GPs who are in the programme but one has to call them to make an appointment which is troublesome (limited telephone hours = long queue).

In Region Hovedstaden it's possible to get vaccination (drop-in = no queue) in participating pharmacies: https://coronasmitte.dk/Media/637749...accination.pdf

If one has gone through fertility treatment, they should be able to vaccinate others too (I had a leaflet on how to practice injection on an orange - fortunately I didn't get that far).

No idea who vaccinated me today, she seemed to know what she was doing so I guess I should be ok.

Wasn't there a report recently that drop-in vaccinations were to be dropped because of too long queues outside?

Are Danish data usually delayed in the same way Swedish data are?

It's quite nice to see that while infections keep going up sharply in Denmark, deaths as well as hospitalisations seem to be beyond their peak and are now stable/decreasing. This would further confirm initial data about omicron causing far less casualties and lower burden on health care, and would be finally the light at the end of the tunnel.

Only the vaccination centres, the one I went to said that I had to have a reservation but I told them that I am flying soon so they let me in and talked to the staff there (they are the ones who decide if I can get my jab or not).

The pharmacies are drop in only.

How many times have we heard that over the past 2 years? And the hysteria still continues.

It's a matter of time that one country stands up and declare this endemic. This mess will go on until the global vaccination rate is up to 80% or so, and I don't know how many mutation there will be and how many boosters we need for this.

I think a lot of countries did the right thing to shut down in 2020 before the vaccination was here so that we don't have the scary scene of Italy, China and Spain appearing everywhere.

I still believe that once hospitals are empty, no one will have the power to prolongue this misery. But I've been wrong before so who knows.

When it comes to Covid-19 tracking, Danish data is more timely, more precise and better organized in its collection and otherwise than Swedish data is.

We're starting to see this in the US, to a degree. I'm not talking about Florida, Texas, and similar states, but the Democratic governor of Colorado has come out and said basically, "We're done. We've done all we can, and if you're unvaccinated, it's on you if something happens to you." Even the Democratic governor of Michigan, who was into hardcore lockdowns last year, is starting to say it's too much.
