I called AS MP to ask them if they would take pity on me. They comped me MVP Gold for another year!!!! THEY ROCK!!!

I'm ready to book a flight for 1/5. If I do not hear back from UA I will just go ahead with the AA challenge.

I guess I should have a better attitude around Christmas, and give UA a break ;) I would think they would more than welcome someone WANTING to use their airline, or maybe they think they have enough customers.

I need to book my 1/5 Shanghai trip, maybe I'll use them anyway, and put a refundable ticket on their books.
