Faxed a request to CO for matching UA 1P and HA Pualani Gold.

Website showed Gold status within an hour!

I hold Gold status (OW emerald) with BA. I have not yet signed up for a UA account. Do I have to do this before I request a status match? Does anyone have the fax number I need to send proof to in the UK? Do I fax them a copy of the statement or a copy of the card?

Have tried to fax United 520-881-4458 twice today and both transmissions have been unsuccessful!?!? I got a 'communication error' the first time and a 'no answer' the second time...

Does anyone know if the Fax # for a United Status Match has changed?

No luck matching United Prem Ex with EVA Gold status - apparently its not one of the programs that they recognize for status matching. Anyone know if any of the *A carriers will match EVA Gold?

Is there any oneworld carrier (besides AA) that will match Northwest Silver or Continental Silver?

USAirways matched CO and Delta challenged
 

I'm silver elite with Continental so I faxed a request for status match to USAirways and they sent me an email and upgraded me within 6 days. Because of this, I've flown 8 segments with them already in January.

I also faxed a request to Delta and they issued me a challenge. From Feb 1st through the end of April, if I get 6,000, they'll award silver and 12,000 will get me gold. I think I'm going to go for this as well.

I think it will be hard to keep all my status between 3 airlines. I have to see where my next project takes me to decide that I guess.

Expiration of Elite Status from Delta Challenge?
 

To those who have successfully completed a Delta Elite Status Challenge:

If you get the challenge and earn your Silver or Gold Medallion status, when does it expire? Does it depend on if you finish the Challenge in the first 6 months of the year or the last 6 months of the year?

For example, if I completed the Challenge and gained Elite status in Feb 2006, would my status expire in the beginning of 2007 or 2008?

NW matched DL status (FO level) took about 2-3 weeks though. Also note that I have flown about 80% of my miles past year with NW, and have over 40k booked this year with NW.

Beginning of 07.

Does anybody know if Continental or NWA have any sort of challenges (and if people with status can do them)? Next year I am going to be spreading my travel among international and other domestic carriers to retain status on both airlines.

Question:
When they say it is a one time thing, does this mean you can only match to one airline once, or match to any airline once? If the latter, how do airlines tell if you have matched to other airlines?
