I would guess you are 'probably' fine. Have you received your packet by snail mail yet? On my prior on-line personal account I received copies of the receipts in the regular mail about a week after it opened. Does it have the "Your Banker" phone number on your 15,000 mile receipt? You could call and ask if you are concerned.

Unless you are trying to slide by with something that technically disqualifies you (like I am on my current new account ) I would not worry to much. I think most problems with miles not posting are from people double dipping. My last two accounts initially failed to post properly (I'm sure because they were opened in somewhat fast succession with the two accounts before them) but none the less when I called the 1-877-292-4273 it was very easily rectified and I got my miles.

Have you opened a checking account this year with Chase? If so, you would not qualify for the 10K. Plenty of posts on this subject.

My wife and I both opened accounts at the local branch on the 28th and were given printouts of both the 10K and the 15K requirements.

That's weird.

Mine was opened on 9/30. Everything was same except I got this:

Your reward details are as follows:
Reward: 10,000 Continental Miles -- Tracking #: xxxxxxxxxx
Reward: 15,000 Continental Miles -- Tracking #: xxxxxxxxxx

I hope they extend this offer but I doubt it, especially after the merger closed.

I missed out on opening another account. Do you think they would still honor it if I go in tomorrow or am I wasting my time?

no, I knew about it for a while but was too lazy. I assumed they would keep running it. I think this offer is dead going forward. I some coins to drop off so well see what they say. I'm crossing my fingers.

I also applied earlier in September - here is my timing:

Account opened on September 4. The first statement cut on September 13 (a day or two after my debit card arrived).

I made my 6 debit card transactions (5 + 1, just to be on the safe side) all on September 18th. My second statement hasn't cut yet, but today I noticed 22,500 miles deposited into my Continental account (dated September 27).

I didn't realize that Chase and Continental "talked" to each other between statement dates, but they apparently do. I'm sure the last 2,500 points will come at some point in the future.

I have (wanted to get an extra few miles out of this before it died), so I'm assuming that's why my account only showed 15k.

However my fiancee showed only the 15k coupon as well, and she hadn't opened one up this year.

I signed up for this, but Chase gave me a completely different OnePass number than the one I have. Do I call Chase or Continental to get that changed?

Wow that's weird. When I went to open my account, the personal banker wouldn't even look at my Onepass# because she said that since Chase Bank was so advance with their online technology and services that my checking account would automatically link up with my Onepass#. Granted, I did signup for the Co credit card (with Chase) a month ago and she saw that on my profile or whatever it is that personal bankers use.

I'd say, call Chase Bank first. They're the ones dealing with your bank account and the ones who did the paperwork in the first place.

I believe you need to call Continental to get the two OnePass accounts "merged" together - since Chase already created a new one for you.

Then you should also contact Chase to get them to update it going-forward. (probably the number given previously in this thread - 1-877-292-4273)

Ok maybe I'm getting senile. I recall a few weeks ago there were either posts in this thread or a separate one of people successfully getting chase to waive or refund the $65 fee for the card. I have tried searching but can't find anything. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if this deal is still alive? Still has it posted on Chase's website, but mentions an expiration date of September 30th. Would thnk they would have either removed it or extended the deal by now.

+1. Or are they going to convert this to a United program?
