Question IB or LH match DL?

He has been DL platinum member before. I am not sure if it is the problem.
Can anyone help on this? My friend is also M&M senator member. Will it be easier for him to get matched to DL gold if he provide his LH gold membership?

Thanks.
For AirNZ I emailed them at [email protected].

For AC - I haven't followed up as yet - if I do it will be by phone.

AirNZ matched me to Gold Elite so seeing as that gives me *A Gold, no real reason to match to AC at this time unless i end up flying a bit on AC next year.

cheers

RJ does not Status Match

Just tried to get a status match with Royal Jordanian. I am a Plat with DL and Gold with BMI.

RJ turned me down, saying I'm welcome to fly with them (gee, thanks!), however they don't status match.

Will be on the hunt for another OW carrier who matches competitors' status.

I am not quite sure if this is still the case, but based on the search, it seems like June 1 is the threshold to get one extra year of elite benefit.

DL matched my CO Plat

When I requested status match to DL a few weeks ago I got an email back saying they would only go to Gold. I faxed my CO Plat card with a letter asking to reconsider to Plat since they now have Diamond. Checked my DL account today and they put me at Plat. No email or anything from them as to when it expires though.

Don't take no for an answer....

Just to clarify -- I should wait till June 1 to ask for a status match so it expires 2012? is that correct? I have seen the word threshold or cutoff used and since I am inexperienced in the intricacies of status matching, I want to make sure I am doing the right thing.

Thanks for the help!!

remove Aeroflot off "non-status matching" airlines

Aeroflot indeed does status match. They also offered me SU Gold from UA 1P after a flight in February 2010.

CX will match you 1/2-way, that is they'll give you Silver for *A Gold if you can show that you fly around these parts of the world from time to time.

They *might* match Gold-4-Gold if you have lots of flights in and out of HKG, but only then.

I email and faxed my CX gold card and statement copies to CO and DL respectively last week and they took less than five working days to match me to their gold status, i.e. *A Gold and ST Eilte (non-plus). But its quite surprising that one year individual Delta Sky Club membership was granted to me together with the DL gold status so that I still can access ST lounges (m i rite? I m not so sure about that) when i fly with them. ^^^^

However, I got the same question, where I can find the expiry date of my CO elite status? I cant find any info in the Onepass website and I heard that they would grant extra year for those doing status match after 1st June. If it is really the case I would be so sad...

Delta Status Match Email Failure

I received the following email from Delta when I sent to [email protected]

I tried from AOL and the same error came.

Does anyone have an alternate email?

I tried to emailed them before and got the same error msg. I called them up and the representative of Delta replied that requesting status match through email is no longer be available, therefore the only way to do status match is through fax. It was painless for me as they did upgraded me to gold after a few days, though without any email or phone or fax notifications. I ve checked it up online.
