They did in my case. I gave them valid reason for match and will use NZ on my Europe-HKG travel.

Good Luck!

The link is not working... Does anyone have the correct link, or has aeroflot stopped the status match offer?
Is there any other ST carrier that does status matches besides Delta and Aeroflot?

it seems that most persons get 90 days to do 15,000 paid miles.

I am Plat with AA but new work place has a fly united policy... (grrr... should have been told that! Or asked... ) So it may be time to switch...

I got my MA Gold matched from NZ Gold Gold elite, so stranger things have happened.

Still considering the AF match posted recently. Sky Team are not much use in the southern hemisphere, unless I can use that to somehow get a OW Emerald, (which is what I was expecting with MA).

Has anyone done a DL status match recently? I would like to try one but only when it will be good through 2012. Lost my Plat status this year.

I just received a match of CO OnePass Gold for my DL Gold Medallion status, good until Feb 2012. I followed the instructions in the first post and had my new status the first business day after I requested it.

I originally got my Gold status on NW and found it incredibly useful and my miles incredibly usable here in Asia (living in Tokyo and Shanghai). I've found my DL Gold status and miles much less useful... I'm moving back to the States and have been looking at one way award flights from PVG to SEA (airfares are sky-high!). DL offered the worst deal at 150k in coach. AA was 75k and UA only 65k, with the nice option of "upgrading" to E+.

Thanks to the folks here for giving me the idea to get a CO match rather than try to for status on UA. This way I should ultimately get both. And still have the chance to match UA status sometime in the future if I need to.

Will be doing lot of traveling out of NYC area airports soon. Have AA EXP for sectors they fly, but believe that CO and DL offer better options out of EWR and JFK.

From above, and more recent posts, seems that CO will still match me up to CO Platinum till Feb 2012.

How about DL? WIll they match DL Plat for AA EXP and/or BD G?

Did one last week, applied on 7/1 they gave me Gold thru 2/2012 today.

Given that I'm UA 1K, I would have liked Platinum, notwithstanding the commenstary throughout this thread telling me I'll only get Gold.

Wow, what did you have to show to get matched to Premier? Just VS Silver card, or mileage summary also? Did you just email UA MP support?

With the current UA 3x EQM promo, this sounds like an easy way to make 2P for the next year and a half.

You should decide based on:
1. Which airport is more comfortable for you? For example, if you live next to JFK, opt for DL.
If LGA is also comfortable for you, choose DL because LGA is one of their Focus Cities.
2. DL only matches until GOLD. I contacted them this week, told them that I have LY Plat, LH Senator, BD Gold & BA Gold and asked for Plat. They told me no, only Gold. However, CO will give you Plat.
3. What destination do you intend to fly to/from NYC. For example - if you intend to fly BOS a lot, then opt for CO, as DL only operates regional jets on the JFK/LGA-BOS route. If you intend to fly MCO a lot then go for DL as they have flights from both LGA&JFK. If you intend to fly to PHX go for CO as DL only operates 1 daily JFK-PHX while CO operates 4 daily EWR-PHX, US 3 daily EWR-PHX & 3 daily JFK-PHX.
4. DL only matches until Feb 2011!

From other airlines' Plat status.
e.g. if you have Plat status on LY you can get CO plat.
