Bean, thanks for adding to the clutter in the buzz. This thread should have been posted under spam.

If he had pork shoulder for lunch then this should be posted in the S.P.A.M. forum.

For something that has run 20 posts to make up your mind, Bean, I hope you know what you are doing.

Looks like it is a catch-22 situation.

If you do not post about what you ate, you lose your credibility. The senior members on the forum are saying "Yes" to the post. Otherwise we can only guess the worst about what you ate.

If you do post, you could still lose credibility if it does not match to our expectations.

but what are your selection criteria for deciding who is/is not worthy? Some of these people asking to be on your list are newbies! can they be trusted? they could be spies!

I can honestly say, I do not want to be on your list or care what you eat for lunch. Unless it is nutritionally redeeming!

It seems a lot of this program is just 'peanuts' for the masses.

Bean,

Actually, I'm not that interested in what was your lunch. But I'm dying to know: did you get priority meal selection? Godivas?

Was just at the grocery store. The sticky price tag fell off of the carton of milk I was buying -- you know what that means: it's free! Store paid me $500 not to walk out with the free milk.

I am positive I can reach the Lettuce Club with no problem, given all my future runs to the salad bar, but I thought if maybe I could get help from all of you frequent eaters out there, you might have some ideas. Is the extra run to the deli worth the privileges? Since I am on Bean's list, I should be able to pick up an extra sandwich run cheap! Don't I get extra mustard and preferred napkin placement if I am Sandwich? What about upgrades to wheat bread? Are they free when available, or do I have to pay a small fee? Will I get the wheat option earlier than those who are Lettuce?

Thanks!

In the end, it all depends if you are "Sandwich Worthy". Good luck - if things work out and you do make Sandwich Club, let us know. I have some expiring Pickle Certificates and an Extra Mayo Coupon that I can't use (I don't eat sandwiches anymore).

I did some checking around and found out there may be a new SPECIAL meal for pax stuck in Coach who didn't get upgraded. It's rumored to be an "FC equivalent" meal service. I think it is a targeted promotion that is only available with the right promotion code and secret password.

Is this the lunch you are referring to Bean??? Please let us know!

And you also have to have the right "angel" at your local CTO.

I ran across a deal so hot, I had to hypnotize myself to forget it, lest I reveal it to anyone else and ruin it.

I did hear that if you fly to Thailand and eat 60 lunches in one day, you will get fat.

Now what I'd love to know is whether you can use all the delis in oneBread to make it to Sandwich club, or whether it has to be one of those greasy Snack Alliance ones.
Any help from you experts?
