I got mostly the same... the guy said they don't generally expedite but he'd open a case to ask. It came in as an investigation that at least proved that I met the requirements. Said points would post within 90 days.

Wrote in again. More cases than not in these situations persistence pays off!

I got the same response ... first guy said he opened the case for investigation and the second guy from investigation team (Ali) said I need to wait till Feb statement but confirmed that I have completed all deposit/spending requirements. Let me know how it comes out for you on the second try.

Hannah is happy to assist me with an investigation and an email in 2-3 days on whether or not they can post the points quicker....

I got my 40,000 pts as well, with no monthly fees as well. I cancelled easily through the secure messaging on citibank.com . It took about 8 weeks after meeting eligibility to earn the points.

Is this offer independent from the AA bonus Miles offer?

Anybody know what happens to your Thank You Points after canceling the Citigold account? Instant loss? 30 or 90 days to redeem?

Up in the air between what to spend the points on but want to cancel asap to avoid fees.

Downgrade to basic checking via chat, nothing happens to your TYP and you will continue to earn them but at a reduced rate. One direct deposit (from BB or AP) and one bill pay to a non-Citi CC per month, and no fee.

For some reason, I feel like I've heard this deal is back on. Is that correct?
