My initial "profile" survey said it would take 15 minutes. It took 40 minutes & no points at the end.

Of course that could change very quickly.
Finished my toilet paper and the survey for 205 miles.

Opinion Miles is sweet. I've earned 437 miles for 5 surveys over the past week. Most are easy and take 15-20 minutes to answer and the miles credit immediately.

Only downside is answering the initial questions only to find out you aren't eligible for the survey. They should give 5 miles or something to us when that happens (like e-rewards does).

It not only checks IP address, but also sets cookies. Once you have failed to be accepted for a survey because your IP is outside the USA, it will continue to fail even once your IP is inside the USA.

(If you have a computer in the USA, you can set up a web proxy or a VPN and use that when you are away.)

I'm over 50,000 miles now and am starting to notice that surveys are going on for nearly an hour with endless checkboxes scrolling unbearably long. This is pure exploitation for 50-60 miles and needs to be protested.

I suggest everyone rate the surveys down for being too long and insist they pay people more for almost an hour of their time. If you get the chance in the survey itself be sure to stress this in no uncertain terms so that all associated with it get the message.

The longer surveys need to pay at least 100 miles.

And today for me is a test on how much of my privacy I'm willing to give up for a fraction of a plane ticket. So far I've been asked to download my Amazon purchases log, install software on my browser, give someone rights to look at everything in my Facebook account, and be contacted by phone to discuss a 50 mile survey.

Nope, hitting my do-not-cross line several times there. Fortunately I've still gotten my 220 miles today after self-eliminating from those surveys.

I won't let them add on anything except Java or a viewer which I can uninstall immediately afterward from Programs and Browser Add-Ons where spyware often lodges.

I've pretty much given up on OM. They continually send me invites for surveys 50-230 miles for 6-22 min, but have deemed me ineligible each time (after spending 4-10min w qualifications questions)!

I see the website got a facelift. Also, I got 60 miles for a survey on energy drinks and they may even send me some...yay!

It is very frustrating but I still keep on going. Not as often as I used to but can't help hoping I will get lucky.

Just eclipsed 10,000 all-time miles earned on the site. Been active for about 3 months since joining. It's 10,000 miles I wouldn't have otherwise!

The first 10,000 is easy. It's the next 10,000 that is slow and frustrating.

It's not for not trying. I'm just not qualifying. Guess I'm not the right demographic.
