AirMiles dream miles really blow. They're useless now that there's no gift cards. It doesn't seem you can convert them to anything useful. I may get a cordless phone answering machine with the 2000 points I have (yeah, I should be able to get a $500 airfare with that, and I am thinking of redeeming for a $70 phone). It's so bad I am surprised that they are still able to make enough money to run the program...

Wife and I have done it with our BMO MCs (no-fee) and Amex Airmiles Plat (FYF) CCs. All cards post points into one single Airmiles account. I mentioned it recently, here at the Amex thread.

So I'd like to bless someone here with these: I've got 3 Maple Leaf Lounge passes that expire February 28, 2015 that I'd like to give away. Free. No strings. I just can't use them and would like to see someone on here enjoy them. PM me if you want them, and I'll mail them up to you.

I wouldn't need them, but hopefully they go to those in need

"this pass is valid in conjunction with a confirmed same-day departing Aeroplan ClassicFlight or Market Fare flight reward ticket ..... operated by Air Canada, AC Express, or AC Rouge"
= Reward flights only
= AC flights only
= Useless for many, ha

You're right! I looked and sure enough, they are only if you're traveling on reward flights. Never knew. That really does limit their usefulness. But if anyone is still interested, let me know...

You probably should post in this thread instead:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/air-c...-mll-pass.html
I have so many leftover Aero-affiliated MLL passes that I should have given them away earlier last year. For a while, the lounge dragon were allowing you to use them EVEN if not on an award flight...but, I gave some to my brother and friends recently during Nov and Dec, and they said they are now laying down the law....HAS to be on an Aero-reward booking and AC metal. Oh well....ker-flush!!!
