Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!

************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.

This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.

Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.

We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).

If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

Older portions of the thread have been separated into archive thread by year. They are listed below

I don't believe that you have done any research on this thread.
You signed up today and missed 2 of the most basic rules.

1. This is the trick it thread, not the beg it thread.
(Written in large letters at the top of the page.

2. Don't code questions.
(Written on averge every couple of pages.

Why should anyone go and tell someone with no history and no credibility anything about this activity.
That would just be irresponsible.

Just a question, I'm looking at QR, EK, EY and trying to find 3X's, still a newbie. Are these airlines notoriously hard to find 3X's with? For example, I was playing around with a QR fare, it got rid of the FD but then the base fare went from 56 GBP to 1000 GBP -.- something is not right.

If you play with the date of your 3x you will easily find that it can be cheaper, and then $270 ai (or to be exact, $269.51, bookable on an airline webpage).
p.s. it is also possible to begin C1e and end C1w for $302.51 ai
p.s.2. and what @keneshhagard meant (DOJ) is also possible for $271.04 ai

Come on man how hard is a little reading? You could find this answer in probably 10 minutes of reading on this thread. Anyways, page 2871 should have your answers.

Just to be clear, my posts were distinct. $292 is C1w to impressment; C1e to Bollywood I could only get down to $328.

Edit to your edit: You can do it from c1e, c1w, or Midwest. And yes you don't need a DOJ, but if you want for fun :-)

Interesting thing I didn't think about - There are a lot of airlines that don't say in their contract of carriage that FD is not allowed :-), only very few do...

Before even starting to figure this whole FD thing out, I'd like to know what kind of cpm's are we talking about here? Comparable to the MR's? Or just "Good Deals"?

Hope I'm not intruding too much into your illuminati

Depends on how you value your time. At $100/hour you'll probably hit 50 a mile within a few months so long as you aren't fussy about where you go.

Start from milk chocolate to get energy to break a world record in December 2016 for €623.03 on ITA (it's not that cheap but it's a world record).

No apetizer needed, but you might get some high and low altitude (but always low latitude) dark chocolate or coffee for dessert.

I see it being bookable for 600.21, cheers for the post!

Certainly not the best of options out there, but these are some fun fares (aka: easy to dump) to play around with on a OW carrier.

C2x-C3-C2y: 398 (no tricks)
C2x-C3-C2y + 3x: 281 (flyable)
C2x-C3-C2y + 1x: 259 (flyable)
C2x-C3-C2y; C2z-C1: 512
C2x-C3-C2y; C5n-C1: 454
