HK will allow entry to non-residents with a vaccination record and positive anitbody test from 30 june onwards. 7-day hotel quarantine required.

Is a Mileage Run truly worth 7 days' of hotel confinement and a blood draw? I'm trying to get what you folks see in this.

I don't know, just sharing what I read online. For a pure MR it may be overkill, however this is the first instance since march 2020 where it's becoming possible to fly these tickets for people not affiliated to Hong Kong or China. Therefore worth sharing imho.

Correction: HK will allow vaccinated non-residents from monday onwards, but 21-day quarantine required. 7-day discount if you're vaccinated, further 7-day discount if you provide bloodwork proving your vaccination status.

My flights in September are cancelled - so need to reschedule (again). Given entry restrictions - I want to push the new booking out as far as possible - how far into the future are AY currently allowing re-booking?

The latest flight cancellation policy says that you can change your travel dates without a change fee maximum 360 days onwards from the day you are making the change!

Change fee isn’t the issue, the question is whether the fare difference is charged.

If your flight is involuntarily cancelled, you may change your reservation without any change fee and the fare difference won't be changed with the same booking class.

Just want to let you know that was able to move your trip from november to May 2022. First i was rejected 2 times from the finnair team beacuse i have booked through expedia.
the third time I was successful

Just got an email from AY which stated that there was a schedule change, does this mean I can change dates? I mean, there is no way i'm going to PVG in the current situation + 14 (or 21) days of quarantine..

Update: I could change the dates or refund.
